Putting the desire to control and wield power over saving lives in Nevada, Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak has done two politically partisan things concerning the COVID-19 virus in the last 24 hours here in my home state. One is annoying and the other is deadly. He has banned gatherings of more than ten people (does he even know what a casino is?) and he has signed an emergency order restricting chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine. He claims that they are needed by other patients… because you know… there is just so much malaria in the state of Nevada.
This has personal repercussions for me and my family. I am prone to pneumonia and my husband has Stage IV colorectal cancer. I live in a high-risk household as my future daughter-in-law is a doctor who goes to work every day. She is in geriatrics. So, thanks to Sisolak, our chances of not beating the WuFlu have raised exponentially. And we are certainly not alone in this state. If he is not pressured to reverse this moronically evil and morally reprehensible mandate, Sisolak will have the blood of Nevadans all over his greedy commie hands.
Sisolak said in a statement that there’s no consensus among experts or Nevada doctors that the drugs can treat people with COVID-19. Idiot. Doctors all over the place including in New York are saying that once it is used along with Zithromax Z-Paks people recover. His order also limits a prescription to a 30-day supply to ensure it’s available for “legitimate medical purposes” and so that people cannot find a way to stockpile the drug. This guy is determined to kill Nevadans – he’s absolutely bent on it.

The measure was taken to avoid hoarding of drugs that have not yet proven effective against fighting coronavirus, his office said in a statement.
“This emergency regulation protects Nevadans who needs these drugs for legitimate medical purposes. At this point in time, there is no known cure for COVID-19 and we must not withhold these drugs from those who need them,” Sisolak said in a statement. “The best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to stay home for Nevada, not to stockpile these drugs.”
Hoarding? You can’t even get drugs you need anymore much less hoard them. What a load of bull.
The governor’s rule comes a day after a Phoenix-area man died and his wife was in critical condition from taking an additive used to clean fish tanks known as chloroquine phosphate, similar to the drug used to treat malaria. So, because two morons removed themselves from the gene pool, the good governor has deemed it appropriate to sentence many others to death over it. This move was meant as a jab at Trump for promoting the drug. I doubt that Sisolak will be reelected over this but in a state full of corrupt politicians and less than mental or ethical giants, who knows? Elections have consequences. Cold comfort if you are on your death bed.
The drugs, commonly used to treat ailments including malaria, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and blood disorders respectively, were recently referred to as a “game-changer” by President Trump because of their success in treating respiratory issues. These drugs are saving lives and giving people hope and Sisolak just simply won’t stand for that in the state of Nevada.
Since I have time on my hands, I am going to look into Sisolak’s background much further for KeyWiki. Onward Together supported him in his election in this state in 2018. They are an organization dubbed the “Resistance PAC” by Buzzfeed. Onward Together was founded by 2016 failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Howard Dean, which is designed to give funding to “progressive” organizations and candidates. I’m sure there is a lot there to write on and he richly deserves to be exposed.
I agree with my old friend Chuck Muth that Sisolak has set himself up as a one-man death panel in the state of Nevada. At least one terminal patient on his deathbed in Florida has credited the use of the drugs for saving his life but Nevadans will not have that option, insurance or not. Our state even has a “right to try” law on the books but Sisolak has determined evidently that death is preferable here to treatment.

In his edict, Sisolak declared that “there is no consensus among COVID-19 experts on Nevada’s own medical health advisory team that the two drugs provide treatment for COVID-19 patients.”
Yet, he goes on to say, his “emergency regulation is aimed at preventing hoarding of the drugs” in question.
But guess who’s “hoarding” them?
DOCTORS!
From the New York Post on Tuesday…
“US doctors are hoarding two rumored ‘anti-coronavirus’ drugs for themselves and their families, helping to drive a nationwide shortage, a report said Tuesday. The doctors are prescribing chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for themselves and their loved ones even though there is no scientific proof that the pharmaceuticals combat the contagion.”
Talk about do as I say, not as I do!
Wait, wait. It gets worse…
“This emergency regulation is a strong step in protecting patients,” said Dr. Ishan Azzam, Sisolak’s chief medical officer for the state Division of Public and Behavioral Health in the press release. “Preserving these drugs for those who need it is the right decision.”
But get this…
According to an Associated Press story from September 11, 2018, Dr. Azzam “isn’t licensed to practice medicine in the United States”!
“Azzam says he practiced for several years as an obstetrics and gynecology physician in Africa before moving to the United States in the 1990s,” AP reported. “That qualifies Azzam for the job under Nevada state law.”
Holy. Cow.
People could die, not from the virus, but from a gubernatorial diktat prohibiting the use of a potentially life-saving drug that’s was approved by the FDA for malaria treatment way back in 1949.
Gov. Sisolak is WAY over his skis on this.
Nevadans need to stand up and force Sisolak to rescind this insanity and they need to vote in a governor that actually cares whether they live or die. Not a Marxist who seems intent on getting rid of the sick and elderly while using politics as a weapon against his own constituency. Paging Josef Mengele… Steve Sisolak on line two.
