CPA Calls for Defeat of Howard Government

The Communist Party of Australia doesn’t like John Howard’s government.

From the CPA’s Guardian

The CPA is committed to doing its utmost to contribute to the defeat of the Coalition government and does not support the recent actions of the Coalition in laying out which union officials are not fit to be members of the ALP, and their subsequent forced resignations.

The CPA calls for the greatest unity of progressive forces in Australia to work for the defeat of the Howard government at the upcoming Federal Elections.

  1. Re Bonsai Howard – of course one can always invoke the superlatives of a fevered rugby league commentator if one wants – observations like “….the best fullback in the world blah blah blah….”.

Similarly, Howard “….the best PM in Aussie history.”

Yeah, for some. But as is said above – not if you’re a poor Aborigine. So get off painting your political buzz as an unshakable scientific truth…. that some major developmental threshold has been crossed under Howard’s stewardship ???

This big “push” into aboriginal communities is nothing more than Boat People Mk II. Remember, from another election year. These devilish people throwing their babies overboard to extort the God fearing Australian battler. Mums and Dads across the nation, up in arms in revulsion, in an election year….

All lies, exposed later on, but still invoked by The Honourable Bonsai when he needed a “demon”.

Why didn’t Howard leap into action years ago in response to the numerous reports documenting the cruel realities of life in aboriginal “Stryllya”. Reports which pointed up exactly what the latest report has, in poverty stricken, marginalised aboriginal communities ?

You really trying to tell us that Howard didn’t know about it until now ??? Yeah right….like Rumsfeld didn’t know about the gassing of the Kurds on his several arms selling, make up with Saddam junkets to Baghdad in the eraly 80s.

Howard’s moves are in essence a redoubling of Australia’s apartheid to counter the inexorable consequences of Australia’s apartheid. And Lo ! He has another demon !

And if you don’t believe that consider what the author of the report and that old right-wing pastoralist former PM Malcom Fraser say about Howard’s responses.

And while I’m never unconscious of your vast “Australasia” expertise Mah Mah please forgo responses in the vein of “commie, commie, commie !

It’s bullshit and simply confirms your manic aspects.

  2. Yeah it seems odd that a groups expression of a political opposition is the sue for an ideological pouncing ?

  3. “John Howard has been the best PM in Aussie history. He has made everybody richer”

Maybe unless you are a worker, a poor Aborigine, an asylum seeker fleeing persecution or a Muslim.

If I was a uranium miner I’d love him!

  4. Come on Steve, admit it, John Howard has been the best PM in Aussie history. He has made everybody richer and makes the kinds of tough decisions NZ politicians avoid.

  5. And your point is Mah ?

Trev, ain’t it a fact that perhaps 53% of Australians don’t like Howard’s government ?

Is it so remarkable that Australian commies share the view of 52.999% of Ockers ?

That you feel moved to make a point of it suggests that you’re a bit obssessive mate.

    Like……grow up time !

  6. It also seems that their fellow comrades in the Communist Party USA also are not fond of Howard’s administration either.
