California Governor Jerry Brown said, “At the end of the day, if we’re going to continue as a powerful, equal-opportunity society, we’re going to have to invest in our people.”
Here’s the problem… Jerry’s not investing in those who enter our country and live in California illegally; he’s taking money from American families via taxation and giving it to people who have broken our laws.
Our country already has a path to citizenship and approximately a million people a year immigrate to America legally. Unfortunately, Progressive liberals like Jerry Brown want to encourage and reward lawlessness on the backs of hard working Americans.
Our children won’t be eligible for the scholarships Jerry’s dolling out with our money, only his “protected” class of lawbreakers will. Clearly there’s no “fairness” or “equality” in that, but when have liberals been anything other than hypocrites? Will Jerry’s “California Dream Act” encourage more people to cross our borders illegally? Of course it will.
Listen to the cost and impact we’re enduring because our government – local, state and federal – refuses to enforce immigration laws already on the books and instead rewards those who enter illegally.
Misguided liberals in California need a reality check; they need to wake up and understand the impacts we’re suffering because of those who are coming to our country illegally. Talk about transforming America… here are excerpts from the article “Two Californias” which describes what we’re already transforming into.
“Many of the rural trailer-house compounds I saw appear to the naked eye no different from what I have seen in the Third World. There is a Caribbean look to the junked cars, electric wires crisscrossing between various outbuildings, plastic tarps substituting for replacement shingles, lean-tos cobbled together as auxiliary housing, pit bulls unleashed, and geese, goats, and chickens roaming around the yards. The public hears about all sorts of tough California regulations that stymie business — rigid zoning laws, strict building codes, constant inspections — but apparently none of that applies out here…
California coastal elites may worry about the oxygen content of water available to a three-inch smelt in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta, but they seem to have no interest in the epidemic dumping of trash, furniture, and often toxic substances throughout California’s rural hinterland. Yesterday, for example, I rode my bike by a stopped van just as the occupants tossed seven plastic bags of raw refuse onto the side of the road. I rode up near their bumper and said in my broken Spanish not to throw garbage onto the public road. But there were three of them, and one of me. So I was lucky to be sworn at only. I note in passing that I would not drive into Mexico and, as a guest, dare to pull over and throw seven bags of trash into the environment of my host.
In fact, trash piles are commonplace out here — composed of everything from half-empty paint cans and children’s plastic toys to diapers and moldy food. I have never seen a rural sheriff cite a litterer, or witnessed state EPA workers cleaning up these unauthorized wastelands. So I would suggest to Bay Area scientists that the environment is taking a much harder beating down here in central California than it is in the Delta. Perhaps before we cut off more irrigation water to the west side of the valley, we might invest some green dollars into cleaning up the unsightly and sometimes dangerous garbage that now litters the outskirts of our rural communities.”
Emboldening those who enter the US illegally, as liberals constantly do, has generated a climate of hatred against the very Americans that government steals from in order to reward these lawbreakers. Fueled by our government schools, children are being taught that America is the oppressor, our borders need to be opened and America doesn’t own our land; it belongs to other countries. Listen as this racist “Brown Beret” activist tells Americans they need to get out of America because whites don’t belong here.
Government is charged with the responsibility to protect America from enemies both foreign and domestic, yet those we’ve elected to represent us are doing the opposite. What’s the solution? Talk to your neighbors, show them the reality of what’s happening and work hard to defeat the elected officials who support those who break our laws and enter our country illegally.
Let your neighbors know about the kind of immigration laws that are enforced in other countries.
Let your neighbors know what they’ve been teaching our children in public schools. This woman is reading directly from the textbook that our children are given and taught from in the classroom.
