  1. Don't forget the great Kiwi leader, Maurice McTigue and his work on "Responsibility in Government". There is always much said about Reagan, from that period, but there were other true liberal reformers (liberal in the European or classic sense) like McTigue, to help us remember the proper role of government in our lives. If you look at NZ and it's current economic success, you can trace it right back to McTigue breaking the economic and individual freedom death spiral of NZ, by taking an axe to government there.

I still listen to his speeches for inspiration and hope, that we can someday cut the government back out of our lives. Our system is different, and he wasn't fully as successful as he should have been, but I have to hope it's possible, and he's the one that leads me to believe it is. It's unfortunate so few of us here in the US have ever heard of him…

  2. We have allowed government creep to decend upon us under the guise of 'protection and entitlement'.

"The past shows unvaryingly that when a people’s freedom disappears, it goes not with a bang, but in silence amid the comfort of being cared for. That is the dire peril in the present trend toward statism. If freedom is not found accompanied by a willingness to resist, and to reject favors, rather than to give up what is intangible but precarious, it will not long be found at all."
    —Richard Weaver, 1962

    · "If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
    -Samuel Adams

  3. If you can't recognize the greatness in this man then you don't understand what made this country great and how our current government is leading us down the road to ruin. Unless you want to live in a third world country, use your power and VOTE THEM ALL OUT.

  4. NEX UT TYRANNUS!

There's nothing – NOTHING – I'd enjoy more than being able, before I die, to see the bodies of Obama, Pelosi, Frank, Dodd and Reid (among about 70 others in congress) swinging in the wind with a noose around their necks for the crimes they've commited against our Constitution (which they SWORE an oath to support, protect and defend) and the people.

Look up the definition of Patriot vs Loyalist. I'm a patriot. What are you?

  5. It's up to the people to stop the slide to tyranny. We are doing all we can to wake people up. Yesterday, I got signs that it is working, people who I never thought would join the march to save liberty in America were all in — Stunning.

    Let's roll …

  6. I wish we would have someone step up to the plate like Reagan. My wife and I are doing all we can at the local level. I hope some of this is played during 8/28. See everyone there.
