"Evil Empire" Gathers in Tashkent

The 6th Meeting of prime ministers and vice-presidents of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states kicked off here on Friday afternoon.

Iran’s First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi is attending the meeting as an observer.

The member states are scheduled to discuss ways to increase and develop ties between member countries and ways of executing agreements in the SCO summit held last September in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan.

Russia, China, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are members of the SCO.

Islamic Republic of Iran, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Mongolia have been attending the SCO meetings as observers since four years ago.

Davoudi has met with Kazakh prime minister and Uzbek Oly Majlis speaker on the sidelines of the meeting and is scheduled to confer with representatives of other participating countries.
