The Communist Takeover Of America – 45 Declared Goals

By Marion Algier – Ask Marion

In the wake of President Obama’s liberal Progressive second Inaugural speech, it is time for another look at greater underlying agendas and perhaps a time to remember that Progressivism = Socialism = Fascism = Marxism = Communism.

Ask almost anyone and you’ll hear, “Communism is dead! The Berlin wall came down, the USSR is gone, China is our trading partner, the cold war is over…” That is one of the problems with America and the western world; we live in the now and our attention span and planning is short term unlike those in movements promoting Communism, Marxism, Socialism, Fascism, Progressivism (all the same), a New World or Globalist Order or beliefs like Islam.

Below is a list of 45 goals that found their way down the halls of our great Capitol back in 1963. As you read this, 50 years later, you should be shocked by the events that have played themselves out. I first ran across this list 3 years ago, but was unable to attain a copy and it has bothered me ever since. Recently, Jeff Rense posted it on his site and I would like to thank him for doing so.

Communist Goals (1963) Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963

Current Communist Goals EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Thursday, January 10, 1963 .

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

Communist Goals
[From “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen]

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.
9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.
43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.
44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.
45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

Note by Webmaster: The Congressional Record back this far has not been digitized and posted on the Internet. It will probably be available at your nearest library that is a federal repository. Call them and ask them. Your college library is probably a repository. This is an excellent source of government records. Another source are your Congress Critters. They should be more than happy to help you in this matter. You will find the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto interesting at this point.

1963 – The Year That Changed America
By Greg Swank – 12-4-2

Over the years, I have shared in debates and discussions regarding the current state of affairs in the U.S., and the changing social climate of this great nation. Since the “baby-boomer” generation, society and its culture have become noticeably different than the way it was 50 years ago. From the late 50′s to the 70′s a series of events took place contributing to the way we are currently living. However, like anything else, there has to be a starting point at which the wheels are put into motion. Sometimes it can be a single event, such as war, but more often, it is a series of events, some intentional, some planned, others unpredictable. There is always a pivotal point when things begin to change. I believe that time was 1963.

For my generation, some of the following will certainly stir old memories. If you born later, this may serve as a brief history lesson into the times your parents traveled through.

By 1963 television was the leading sources of entertainment. The public enjoyed a different type of programming back then. Lessons on life could be viewed weekly on “Leave it to Beaver” or “My Three Sons.” There were hero’s back then that never drew blood, “The Lone Ranger” and “The Adventures of Superman.” Cartoon series evolved, such as, “The Flintstones” and “The Jetsons” without messages of empowering the children, using vulgarities or demeaning parental guidance. Family’s could spend a weekend evening watching “Ed Sullivan,” “Bonanza” or “Gunsmoke.” For those who enjoyed thrill and suspense, we were blessed with “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” and the “Twilight Zone.” ‘My Favorite Martian,” “Ozzie and Harriet,” “Donna Reed” and “Sea Hunt” also kept viewers entertained weekly.

Movie theaters were not multiplex units with 15 screens, rather, one single, giant big screen with adequate sound and hard seats without springs. “Tom Jones” had won the Academy award for best picture. “How The West Was Won,” “Cleopatra,” “Lily of the Fields,” “The Great Escape,” “The Birds,” and “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World” were all box office hits.

By years end, “The Beatles” had played for the British Royal Family and were laying the groundwork to conquer the U.S. the following year. Eric Clapton began his journey to fame with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Jim McCarty and their band, “The Yardbirds.” Out on the west coast the surf was beginning to rock’n’roll with “The Beach Boys” and their first song to reach the top ten list, “Surfin’ U.S.A.”

“Joys of Jell-O” recipes for quivering florescent foodstuff hit the stores. U.S. Postal rates went up to five cents for the first ounce. AT&T introduced touch-tone telephones. The Yankees played in the World Series again; but lost to the Dodgers in four straight. The government and NASA began the Apollo program.

This is just a brief snapshot of some things that were going on back in 1963. Remember?

While some of these events played an important role in the direction of change that affect us today, many of them were lost to much greater, more political events, that I believe put everything into motion.

On January 10, 1963, the House of Representative and later the Senate began reviewing a document entitled “Communist Goals for Taking Over America.” It contained an agenda of 45 separate issues that, in hindsight was quite shocking back then and equally shocking today. Here, in part, are some key points listed in that document.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind.
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
27. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

You can see the entire list on this web page – http://www.truthtrek.net/politics/takeover.htm (no longer works as a link)

Now, I am not saying that the U.S. is under some kind of Communist control, but what I do find frightening, is of the 45 issues listed, nearly all of them have come to pass. Remember this was in January 1963.

In 1963 the news media showed women burning their bras as the women’s liberation movement took off with the publishing of “The Feminine Mystique” by Betty Friedan. Martin Luther King was jailed in April and civil unrest was being brought to the forefront. On August 28th the media brought us live coverage of the march on Washington and Dr. Kings famous “I had a dream” speech. The Cuban missile crisis found its way in to our homes and our nation was gearing up for conflict.

By September of 1963 we had lost some very influential people, Pope John XXIII, Robert Frost, and country legend Patsy Cline, to name a few. In the early hours of November 22nd we learned of the quiet passing of C.S. Lewis and hours later we were brought to our knees when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and our nation mourned.

So you see, while long since forgotten, 1963 could very well have been, one of the most important years since our founding fathers provided us with the Constitution of the United States. Which brings me to one final and extremely important decision that was made during this most provocative year.

On June 17, 1963 the U.S. Supreme Court concluded that any Bible reciting or prayer, in public schools, was deemed unconstitutional.
While American’s have endured great prosperity over the past 40 years we have also lost our moral compass and direction. In reviewing the research, data supports 1963 as a focal point, demonstrating a downward slope in our moral and social decline through 2001.

Certainly, one would have to agree that all of these events have had a profound impact on the way our current social structure has been changed. Personally, if I had to choose one specific event that has demonstrated the demoralization of our country, it would have to be the decision of the U.S Supreme Court in June of 1963.

But there is always “hope.” As always, I welcome your comments and can easily be reached. Thanks for the response to “Daddy, What’s Fluoride?” My email is: greg@truthtrek.net

Former KGB agent Explains Ideological Subversion and brain washing warns America “No place for future dissenters in America.”

Yuri Bezmenov is a former KGB agent and an expert on ideological subversion. He discusses the slow process of demoralization that transformed America from a conservative and mostly homogeneous country into a socially-Marxist and egalitarian one.

Interview conducted by Edward Griffin in 1985.

Manipulation of public opinion and media. Those who refused the influence of communism in their country, their reputation was ruined. Or they were executed. Physically. Revolution forces.

Yuri Bezmenov: the useful idiots of socialism

Presented for the first subtitled in French, this interview, although dating from 1985, is a rare news. Yuri Bezmenov, ex-KGB agent spent in the West in the 1970 recounts in detail the techniques of destabilization and manipulation of public opinion.

This interview can understand why, in 2007, we still contend with a left lunar why so many teachers continue to undermine formatted generations of schoolchildren and students and why the fight against Marxist socialism, despite all the evidence its harmfulness, is always on the agenda.

Yuri Bezmenov shows how the socialist-communist bloc:
• knowingly implemented a comprehensive manipulation of public opinion and elites worldwide.
• conditioned schoolchildren and students to Western socialist ideals on at least three generations. This task was in his 85% of the activity of the KGB.
• systematically recruited all opinion leaders in the West for influence and destabilize the non-Communist world.
• conditioned and “de-moralized” (loss of value) of entire sections of society, become “useful idiots” of socialism.

In a lecture he remains traces on the Internet, Yuri Bezmenov – aka Thomas Schuman – gave further guidance on techniques designed to destabilize the western nations. Among these strategies of destabilization, he cites include:

• sabotage units of national, ethnic, racial, religious, linguistic
• ridicule of patriotism by degrading the level of a mental illness (psychotic)
• encouragement of the political turmoil in the world of work by politicizing the trade unions.

We have thus far both feet in and we have not changed the world: we’re still the heirs of the Cold War. It is now inside the tent of disease spread. And the “useful idiots” are also still active.

Obama is the master of manipulating the uninformed!!

Please educate yourself and then share what you have learned with others. Thomas Jefferson was so strong on the need for public education for all so America would have an educated populace, which is needed to maintain a republic. As Benjamin Franklin said when asked by a woman. “What have you given us, Mr. Franklin?” “A Republic, Madame,” he replied, “If you can keep it!” Unfortunately, our very lacking public education system, the mainstream media (MSM) and Hollywood have all been infiltrated by Progressives… the radical left, who are indoctrinating and manipulating the public. History repeats itself and the answers for the future lie in understanding the past.

The Communists, Marxists, Socialists, Fascists, Fabians, Progressives, leftists radicals… whatever you want to call them, have been busy working their plan(s) for years as we were manipulated into believing that the Cold War was over, that Communism was virtually dead except for 4 or 5 radical regimes and that we no longer had anything to fear from them. Now we have Marxism or Progressivism (Communism), Islam and our own dumbed down populace to fight… while globalist radicals have continued to forge ahead with their plans including their infiltration into our White House, Congress and Supreme Court, our education system, many of our churches and every media arm from entertainment to news that indoctrinate our children and the thoughts of most Americans… especially the uninformed!

  1. WOW, way to be a sheep you know? Saying Obama is a Communist. HA! Give me a break, Obama isn’t even close to Communism, and he isn’t even close to being a Socialist either. They tell us all the time in school that Communism is when the government owns everything, can they just give us the Communist Manifesto instead of telling us lies about Communism? No, the wealth isn’t spread around. No, Communism doesn’t reward the lazy. No, liberals and libertarians are not leftists. No, Communism doesn’t take away your home. No, the USSR was not Communist under Stalin’s control and afterward. Also, no, the DPRK (North Korea), China, Laos, Cuba, Vietnam, etc. are not Communist.

Now real Communism is when the people are united and the social class system is smashed. That’s it. It means that all are treated with an equal amount of respect and all are able to work. Oppression ceases to exist, and the state is dissolved.

    1. You probably didn’t mean to, but you made the point very nicely, thank you. A “real” Communist is somebody who believes that humanity will finally have achieved “perfection” when, as you put it, “the people are united and the social class system is smashed.” Obama believes that, and the far left embrace the “Big Brother” system of government, which they believe will lead to total equality, fairness, and lack of oppression.

If you can’t see that under this system of “equality,” the wealthy are punished and the nonworking are rewarded, and you lose virtually ALL of your “freedoms,” then there isn’t much point in further debate with you as you clearly drank the RED Kool-Aid long ago.

      1. Bruh, I mentioned that the state is dissolved, meaning to say that there is no government. Communism is a kind of Anarchy in the simplest of terms, there is no government because all the people govern themselves. Obama is just the same as any other Capitalist, and a bit of a Statist too. Communists are against the belief of using police as a form of control, and using the “Big Brother” system.

        1. “If you can’t see that under this system of “equality,” the wealthy are punished and the nonworking are rewarded” -11thHour

Bruh, “To each according to his ability, to each according to their needs,” -Karl Marx (aka, The Father of Communism)
“The individual receives from society exactly what he gives to it.” -Karl Marx
“The same amount of labour which he or she has given to society in one form, he or she will receive back in another”
          -Gotha, pg. 9

          1. I’m not sure what point you’re making, but you forgot to mention what happens to those who don’t “pull their weight.” If they aren’t deemed “useful to society,” they should be killed. Karl Marx

Yep, sounds like a fair society, all “equal” and everything.

As far as Communists being “against using police as a form of control,” why do you think police all across the USA are under constant attack by the left? They HATE the police!

Today’s Democrats (and many of the Republicans currently in power) are fascist totalitarians, and many are or have been members of the Democratic Socialists of America or other Socialist groups connected with the Communist party. The Obama administration also reveres the likes of Hugo Chavez, Putin, Castro, Mao and Stalin.

Do you believe that China has not been operating under Communism all these years? Last time I checked, the people there haven’t been “governing themselves.” As a matter of fact, a great many of them have been killed for speaking against their government. And the one-baby law was also self-imposed — right? — so that baby girls have been routinely drowned or killed in some other fashion, and now China is a nation of mostly male citizens.

Ask the citizens who lived under Lenin or Stalin what “real” Communism was. They were (and are) not “governing themselves.”

I’m afraid that your definition of “Communism” and the one currently in practice all around the world where it exists are quite different from each other. And if you think it doesn’t exist in our White House today, you are sorely mistaken.

          2. Bruh, as I stated in my first response, China is not a Communist country.

            Here are the Communist principles:
            – The Workers own the workplace
            – The Workers receive the full fruits of their labour
            – There is no money in Communism
            – There is no state in Communism
            – There is full employment
            – Freedom of speech
            – There are no social classes (this is another way of saying equality), this does not mean everyone is the same, but that everyone is treated with an equal amount of respect

            Here is China:
            – The workers don’t own the workplace (the corporations do)
            – The workers survive off of small fractions of their labour
            – There is a Chinese currency, the Chinese Yuan
            – There is definitely a state
            – There is an unemployment rate of 3.3%
            – There is absolutely no freedom of speech
            – Lastly there are social classes indeed, and not everyone is treated with respect. In fact about 902 million people live on less than $5 a day, and those people usually are treated the worst.

Yeah, China doesn’t really follow any of the Communist principals bruh. In fact it looks more like Stalinism or Maoism (This is what they tell everyone Communism is, but the fact is that it isn’t, that is Stalinism) if you ask me.

Also if you were to be unable to work (in a Communist Society), then the same thing would happen as it does in this society, you go to a hospital.

    1. This is very scary to say the least. I have been following this Immigration by radical Islam as much as possible and would appreciate it if you could keep me informed as much as possible with the truth, ( can’t trust the media ). I recently joined the NRA to become prepared for whatever may be coming, there is strength in numbers! I do hope to hear from you soon.

  2. None of this would have ever happened if America (and in particular the preachers) didn’t abandon the King James Bible of 1611. Once you abandon those WORDS and I do mean W-O-R-D-S then your goose is cooked. Light rejected is lightning.

Our preachers and Christian schools were infilitrated by the roman catholic jesuits and their vaticanus and sinaiticus via Westcott and Hort/Aland Metger’s greek text. This text represents the minority (about 50) of the texts compared to the majority (Textus Receptus with over 5,000 manuscripts) and is the same text that brought about the Roman Catholic Dark Ages.

Then again, “the wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God…. Whosoever hateth the word shall be destroyed…. For I send a famine in the land, not of bread, nor of water, but of hearing the WORDS of the LORD.”

About 100 years ago a world famous communist said this…”this world is getting too big for that Book (the AV of 1611), either that Book is going to have to go or the world is.” Well, God has already settled that. “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my WORDS shall not.”

And, I dont mean the Word of God (incarnate). I mean the literal WORDS of God. For God magnified those above His own name.
