We’re Being Played: BLM “Good Cop” vs. ANTIFA “Bad Cop”

One need not be a cynic to observe that media-propelled street demonstrations over the killing of a Black occur, with suspicious correlation, during the months preceding elections: Trayvon Martin in 2012; Michael Brown (Ferguson, MO and Oakland, CA) in 2014; Sylville Smith (Milwaukee) and Keith Lamont Scott (Charlotte) in 2016. And now in 2020, across the nation after the death (murder?) of George Floyd.

This is not to say that outrage over the death of George Floyd is to be dismissed as inauthentic, nor unwarranted. While there is much we don’t yet know, the now-infamous video is certainly prima facie evidence of police abuse. Still, there is much that must be to be determined before we can reach legitimate conclusions: was the knee on the neck accepted procedure in that department (doubtful), used on Whites and Blacks alike, or did the officer go out of bounds? Was he disciplined before, or even did the department try to fire him before, but was unsuccessful due to union contract protections?

We still have much to learn.  In time, we will know. What we do know now is that the matter has the full attention of state, local and federal prosecutors, and justice will be done, and in the daylight of media coverage. In turn, a salutary deterrence effect of rogue police behavior will be advanced.

At the same time, it’s also worth noting that the same folks who are quick to condemn all police, and indeed our entire country for “systemic racism,” are the first ones to dismiss the rioting and looting as coming from a “few bad actors” while the “overwhelming majority of protestors are peaceful.”

Well guess what? The overwhelming majority of police are upstanding and brave individuals, performing a ever-more difficult and dangerous jobs (and so they do deserve robust job protections, just not at the expense of preventing the removal of those who do not deserve to wear a badge).

Before we proceed however, it must be stated unequivocally that the entire premise of “police slaughtering Blacks” and “systemic racism” in this country is a big lie – one worthy of premier propagandists like Edward Bernays and his spiritual protégé, Josef Goebbels. Don’t take my word for it – it’ll be dismissed as coming from a White male, in Progressive-speak meaning that it is to be summarily dismissed. So instead, consider the words of intellectually honest Blacks, such as Candace Owens (here  and here) and Larry Elder (here and here).

When you have big lies developed, distributed and adhered to, notwithstanding contrary evidence, you have an underlying agenda – one that may be shrouded even from the public operatives perpetuating the big lies.

The Progressive media (nee “mainstream media”) is busy peddling a narrative that “Black Lives Matter” (BLM) is the embodiment of a righteous moral outrage about “police brutality” and “systemic racism.”

Millions of people have bought into that narrative, and acting in subjective good conscience, are supporting BLM. Questioning of BLM, much less criticism of  it, is now verboten.

Whites in cult-like reflex taking a Kapaernick-emulating knee is suddenly de rigueur for anti-racist virtue signaling; even with public recanting for being born White, or something like that (note in particular the video embedded within).

Emblematic of the current maelstrom of BLM privilege, NFL star Drew Brees was forced to kowtow after making a perfectly reasonable statement defending the honor of our flag.

At the same time, Antifa is doing what Antifa does – that is, reprising the role of Nazi Brownshirts and Fascist Blackshirts, albeit under their label of “Black Bloc.” Anarchist street violence and agitation are Antifa’s calling cards.

The Progressive media is soft-peddling the Antifa violence. (Largely because the video imagery of looting is dominated by Blacks, and not Black Blocs?) So, we hear that the “demonstrations” were “mostly peaceful,” and that to the extent that there was violence it was isolated – almost comically at times.

For instance, an MSNBC reporter, channeling his inner “Baghdad Bob,” reported on-air of the “mostly peaceful” demonstrations as buildings burned behind him! The narrative being peddled is that a small number of bad-actor Antifa activists have incited, or even committed the destruction, and should not be allowed to besmirch the righteous cause of BLM.

Even more intriguing, up bubbled allegations that “White supremacists” were inciting the violence – without specifically identifying any individuals or groups. (It seems to me to be an implicit insult to Blacks buried within this Progressive media narrative – that they’re so gullible that they readily fall for the entreaties of “White supremacists” to riot and loot within their own neighborhoods.)

So is BLM the spontaneous, grassroots movement of voices seeking so-called “social justice?” Or is it a Progressive AstroTurf organization, its existence intended to market (mostly) to a particular demographic – Black women – within the Democrats’ “identity politics” sphere? Evidence shows it to be the latter.

A perusal of its website  is telling, and includes following (note how it subtly morphs into a standard Progressive laundry list of goals and objectives). Under a section titled “Herstory” it states:

As organizers who work with everyday people, BLM members see and understand significant gaps in movement spaces and leadership. Black liberation movements in this country have created room, space, and leadership mostly for Black heterosexual, cisgender men — leaving women, queer and transgender people, and others either out of the movement or in the background to move the work forward with little or no recognition. As a network, we have always recognized the need to center the leadership of women and queer and trans people. To maximize our movement muscle, and to be intentional about not replicating harmful practices that excluded so many in past movements for liberation, we made a commitment to placing those at the margins closer to the center.

The “What We Believe” section includes the following (with my comments in brackets):

We see ourselves as part of the global Black family, and we are aware of the different ways we are impacted or privileged as Black people who exist in different parts of the world. [Apparently “structural racism” isn’t just a United States of America thing after all.]

We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location.[Covered all of the Progressive check-off boxes. So go ahead and check-off the check-off box requirement.]

We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.
We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence. [Cisgender Black males need not apply.]

We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered. [Ditto.]

We practice empathy. We engage comrades with the intent to learn about and connect with their contexts. [Comrades! Marx was prescient – a gender-neutral term!]

We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work. [It’s telling that words “parents” and “mothers” are used, but not “fathers.” What does this have to do with battling “racism” against Blacks? Please define “public justice work.”]

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable. [Fathers need not apply. “Western-prescribed nuclear family structure” = Cultural Marxism.]

We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).

We cultivate an intergenerational and communal network free from ageism. We believe that all people, regardless of age, show up with the capacity to lead and learn.

We embody and practice justice, liberation, and peace in our engagements with one another.

THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES ARE BEING SUBJECTED TO A MASSIVE “GOOD COP, BAD COP” MANIPULATION.

BLM is funded by Leftist, White billionairesSo is Antifa. There is overlap in the funding (e.g., George Soros). Grassroots my cisgender behind.

BLM is merely a kinder, gentler looking version of Antifa – marketed to a particular cluster of demographics, as is Antifa. Both are radical, working for social justice-infused global Collectivism to reign (albeit their masters likely have different intents, as we’ll see).

A primary goal is to agitate Blacks – who have been showing signs of leaving the Democrat Plantation and supporting Trump – back into the fold, and to support the Democrat candidate (Biden or whoever). And secondarily, to foment a summer of Antifa-led civil unrest, hoping that the Trump administration overplays it response, and to agitate independent voters into the Democrat camp – and to support BLM and its goals – as a response to Trump’s alleged encouragement of “White supremacists.”

We all know that ultimately funders call the shots – the shared funders of BLM and Antifa are the puppet-masters manipulating those figurines on the public stage. Donald Trump in office, and the continued existence of the United States of America as founded, are the sole forces viably standing in opposition to the funders’ ultimate objectives. (Something resembling a global corporatist structure of multi-national financial institutions and unelected NGO’s; in other words, something akin to a Mussolini-style Fascist state, albeit controlling the entire globe. In other words, a de facto totalitarian regime, spanning the entire globe.)

POSTSCRIPT: Previous extra-legal attempts to (first) prevent a President Trump, and then to remove him from office, have failed. Few things are as dangerous as cornered Collectivists. The “climate change” / “sustainability” shtick has gotten a little stale, so is being de-emphasized for now. Yet as Democrat forces desperately pull out all the stops to prevail in November – including civil unrest and voter fraud (a Democrat specialty) – don’t be surprised if “Occupy” is pulled out of storage (perhaps rebranded under a new name).

The intent will be to bring back into the Democrat Party fold the “Bernie” / Millennial faction of the electorate. As we speak, the Federal Reserve and other central banks are monetizing debit, manipulating markets and debasing the currency. The same puppet-masters behind BLM and Antifa are also behind the central banks – a reprise of just-before-the-election financial crisis (perhaps blamed on Covid, i.e., the “plandemic”) would be yet another globalist tool to wield, and likely will be.
