‘Non-Communist’ Putin Opens Major International Communist Youth Festival

“Non-communist” Russian President Vladimir Putin has just opened a mass international communist youth festival in Sochi, Russia. The week long event, timed to coincide with the hundredth anniversary of the Bolshevik revolution, was personally endorsed by the Russian President.

Putin  personally intervened so that the organizers could secure the Sochi venue.

Various reports have put attendee numbers between 10,000 and 60,000, with 30,000 the most often cited number. That includes a significant number of young Communist Party USA supporters including, Sara Ladino Cano (New York), Yennifer Mateo (Forida), Chauncey Robinson (New York), Emiliana Sparaco (California), Cameron Orr (New York) and Al Neal (Missouri) among them.

.

The Festival is organized by the decades old and still very much alive Soviet international front organization World Federation of Democratic Youth, and has drawn communist youth from more than 180 countries.

Not surprisingly, veteran US communist and New York based professional Russia propagandist Caleb Maupin and Kremlin financed TV channel RT have been publicizing the event.

Why would Vladimir Putin be putting his considerable political weight behind the largest international communist gathering in decades?

Why are communist youth from all over the world listening in rapt attention to the leader of a country that has allegedly repudiated their Marxist ideals?

What do they know that we don’t? Putin is the conservative movement’s friend now, right? Right???

  1. anyone who bought into the “wall is torn down” and so went Communism is a bigger fool than could be measured. Was it not Barack Hussein Obama off mic who told Putin “wait till after the election” …..

  2. “What do they know that we don’t? Putin is the conservative movement’s friend now, right? Right???“ – Well, that’s what Alex Jones, Patrick Buchanan, and the Shoebats want us to believe, but that isn’t the case.
