The World War Is Already Here

By: Cliff Kincaid

“Tanks To Ukraine” is a headline on the Breitbart news site that is portrayed as possibly provoking World War III. A Drudge Report headline about “a fierce new step by the West” took me to CNN. “War in Ukraine pushes Doomsday Clock forward” is how Axios described it. This is scare-mongering propaganda designed to frighten the West into backing down, when a united front against Russian imperialism is now taking shape.

The first communist nation on the face of the earth, Russia is today run by the morally bankrupt remnants of the old Soviet KGB in alliance with billionaire oligarchs that currently uses the Russian Orthodox Church as a spiritual front for justifying Russian imperialism. The regime is so corrupt that it got caught doping its athletes.

Today, Russia uses its left-over nuclear weapons from the Soviet days to scare the West into backing down in support of a former Soviet republic fighting for its national independence.  In terms of conventional weapons, the United States and its allies have the capability to make sure Ukraine prevails, if only the U.S. has the win to win. That is an open question with Biden, long committed to a New World Order, in charge.

Meanwhile, Mexican cartels working with Communist China pour drugs in, killing about 100,000 Americans a year.  The China virus continues to kill and maim Americans, with hundreds dying every day.

Worldwide, more than 6.7 million people have died, with 1.1 million deaths in the U.S.

The China-Russia alliance against America and the West is on full display.

Yet, Biden Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to travel to China in early February, not to demand reparations but to ensure that “ties between our countries can resume the healthy and stable course of development,” according to a communist official.

We are already engaged in a World War whether authorities want to admit it or not.

The scope of the intelligence failure regarding Russia in particular was addressed by then-Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), who said on CNN’s Jake Tapper show on April 12, 2016, that the U.S. government had badly “misjudged” the intentions of former KGB colonel Vladimir Putin “for many, many years.” He declared, “The biggest intelligence failure that we have had since 9/11 has been the inability to predict the leadership plans and intentions of the Putin regime in Russia.”

After the Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008, Nunes noted, the U.S. continued to engage diplomatically with the Russians, and “we continued to talk to the Russians, and then they invaded Eastern Ukraine.”

“We missed that,” he said. “And then we completely missed entirely when they put a new base, a new base with aircraft into the Mediterranean, into Syria. We just missed it. We were blind.”

After that, Russian invaded Ukraine under Obama in 2014, taking Crimea.

America’s current problem is having a weak Democratic president who seemed to dismiss an invasion of Ukraine as a minor “incursion,” then declared he was opposed to Russian aggression, but has failed to deliver the right kind of weapons Ukraine needs on a timely basis.

The Abrams main battle tanks for Ukraine announced by Biden should have been delivered months ago. Fighter jets should have been delivered months ago as well.

“This is about helping Ukraine defend and protect Ukrainian land. It is not an offensive threat to Russia,” said the weak-kneed and weak-willed Joe Biden. He’s afraid to “provoke” Putin.

Ukraine is waging a defensive war when it should have the offensive capability to take the fight to Russia itself.

Republican Senator Tom Cotton notes, “The Biden administration has finally relented and will send 31 American-made Abrams tanks to Ukraine. This decision is welcome, but it comes too late to help the Ukrainians as they prepare for a renewed Russian onslaught this spring. It illustrates, once again, how President Joe Biden’s half measures have made the war in Ukraine longer and bloodier than it should have been.”

Bur rather than take to heart the wisdom of Devin Nunes about the intelligence community misjudging Putin, failed Republican congressional candidate Joe Kent says support for Ukraine is “a huge payday for the military industrial complex” and now wants to run again, on a peace with Russia platform. He represents the Stephen K. Bannon and Tucker Carlson wing of the conservative movement.

As a military veteran, Joe Kent has to know that the “military-industrial complex” serves a valid purpose — national defense — and that China, Russia, and radical Islam, especially Iran, are among the major threats.

Joe Kent lost his bid to represent Southwest Washington in Congress, a seat previously held by a Republican.

Joe Kent’s wife became the first woman killed in combat against ISIS on January 16, 2019, and he accepted an award in her honor. The award is named for a woman who help the French resistance against Nazi Germany.

Kent should know that Islamic terrorism is directly linked to the old KGB, and that the old KGB runs Russia today.  What is needed in the face of this threat is resistance as well.

Joe Kent, Stephen K. Bannon, and Tucker Carlson mock Ukraine’s fight for survival and complain about $100 billion spent on weapons for Ukraine.

If arms shipments to Ukraine are in fact resulting in a serious shortage of arms and ammunition in NATO member states, the answer is to rebuild our so-called “military-industrial complex.” National defense is a constitutional requirement.

I am old enough to remember that, faced with the aggressive designs of the Soviet empire, President Ronald Reagan spent billions of dollars on anti-communist guerrilla groups in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. It was called the Reagan Doctrine. Not all of these efforts were ultimately successful because the communists regrouped in many of those places, such as Nicaragua. But the key point is that what we are spending today in Ukraine is a piddling amount.

Aid to Ukraine should continue and be increased. But why is Biden sending foreign aid to communist South Africa, a Russian ally? China-Russia-South Africa joint military drills, named Operation Mosi, are scheduled to take place from February 17 to 26. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was just welcomed by his South African counterpart in Pretoria, South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor, where they declared the advent of a new “global order.”

An AFP story quoted Pandor as thanking Lavrov for the “most wonderful meeting” after the talks, which will “strengthen the already good relations” between the two countries. She described Russia as a “valued partner.”

Yet, Biden had declared, when he hosted President Ramaphosa of South Africa, “The United States and South Africa and your government have the same value set.” He added, “South Africa is a vital voice on the global stage and a leader in the international order.”

Incredibly, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was just in South Africa, declaring the U.S. is seeking to deepen its “economic integration” with South Africa.

What America needs is a new version of the Reagan Doctrine, singling out communist governments for confrontation, even regime change. That means cutting off foreign aid to countries like South Africa. That means letting Israel take care of the Iranian nuclear bomb problem.

These are all serious threats. After devoting his entire political career to creating a New World Order, Biden was forced by the invasion of Ukraine to confront just one of them, in a half-hearted manner.

With the arrest of a former top FBI counterintelligence official who was involved in the Trump-Russia collusion investigation, Congress now has to actively pursue the issue of the U.S. intelligence community being infiltrated by Russian agents.

In regard to Ukraine, however, there is some good news — the U.S., Germany, Britain, Poland, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal have now agreed to send tanks to destroy Russia’s forces in eastern Ukraine. But is it too little too late?

In the face of all these foreign threats, the solution is to confront them all. Major impediments to a solution are China Joe and the pro-Russia wing of the “conservative” movement

  1. Excellent article from Cliff Kincaid. Good that others see through the controlled opposition in the “right wing” media, like Carlson and Bannon. However, since Israel was founded by the Soviet Union and its intelligence agency Mossad is “an old Russia school”, according to former Mossad officer Juval Aviv, I wouldn’t count on Israel containing the Islamic-Muslim threat from Iran, especially since Iran seems to be a Russian satellite.
