BillWhittle081020 (1)Bill Whittle machineguns the gun control crowd.

The USA has, by far, the highest per capita gun ownership in the world. Progressives will tell you that this is what makes America the Murder Capitol of Planet Earth. But we’re not, and in this devastatingly effective Firewall, Bill Whittle shows why the center of Gun Nut Nation is in fact one of the safest places.

  1. The 2nd Amendment RIGHT to bear arms is a “balance of power” mechanism built into the Constitution by our Founders whereby the sovereign People of the United States, as government’s founding “master-principal” and source of government’s authority, reserved to themselves “the means of last resort” to put down mutinies, rebellions, and insurrections by their public “servants” should that occasion arise.

Our Founders just fought and won a war to free themselves from a tyranny, the last thing they wanted was to allow another to soon take its place. Therefor they decreed that there was to be “no standing armies in times of peace”. It was government that was forbidden to have arms, unless Congress declared war and the country was mobilized for its defense. This was clearly spelled out in the Federalist Papers.

Our “natural” right to bear arms in defense of our lives and liberty is not “legislation” concocted by our venal public “servants”, subject to revision or revocation after every election, or change of whim of a temporary legislative voting majority. It is the written expressed will of a sovereign People, made permanent by the Constitution to preserve it and protect the minority from any “tyranny of a majority”.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled recently in Heller vs. DC that our Constitution, unlike all others, does not GRANT rights, it merely codifies pre-existing (God given “natural”) ones.

14th Amendment created “subjects”, on the other hand, need government’s permission (licenses or permits) to do everything, government (Congress) is their king. Their rights do not come from God, they come from Congress. But that’s another story for another time.

    1. REGARDLESS of ANY legislation, executive order, and/or judicial tyranny, MY rights come from God… and certainly NOT from anything of this temporal existence! While I appreciate what frank has to say, and I agree with him in principle, I just felt the need to explicitly state that the government – which gets its license to exist via the Constitution – only has the power the We the People have given it. ANY exercise of power over and above from that which is delineated is justification for the “duty” of the governed to replace the current one, as stated in the Declaration of Independence! The 14th Amendment’s validity is HIGHLY questionable, in that the states that had been “subjected” by the North’s hegemony as a result of having lost in the (not so) Civil War, those states were not considered worthy of being counted when the votes were counted for the Reformation Amendments (13th, 14th, and 15th) to the Constitution. So, a child would be able to “see” that these amendments were not ratified in a Constitutional way, and are – therefore – invalid. This is primarily due to the fact that too many have such a vested interest in ensuring that the 14th amendment IS valid and the disinformation and misinformation by all public schools and institutions of higher learning spreading their “gospel” of these amendments being valid. So, these amendments are not valid, but are kept alive by too many being ignorant as to anything of the contrary and the fact that there are too many that seek to keep the MYTH of them being valid alive (not the least of which are corporations, which have been ruled to have 14th amendment “natural rights…” trust me when I tell you, you can NOT make this stuff up)!
