The following document is directed at “persons of color”:
If you’re a person of color, are you infuriated by what you just read? Do you want to climb through the screen right now and choke the life out of whoever compiled this despicably bigoted and intellectually small-minded screed? Who in their right mind would write such divisive and insulting garbage? Who does the person who wrote this think they are?
If this is your reaction, I applaud you. You should be insulted—very insulted, because it is purposefully designed to be insulting and divisive. That’s the entire point of the exercise.
Now, I’ll let you in on something: the above list is not an actual document from the so-called “Beyond Diversity Resource Center.” But the document below is an actual document from the “Beyond Diversity Resource Center.”
Via Gateway Pundit:
On Tuesday Progressives Today published this document “Pitfalls of Working With White People” that was handed out at a the 15th Annual White Privilege Conference in Madison, Wisconsin during a workshop. The breakout session was titled “Y’all Gonna Make Me Lose My Mind!”
I simply replaced the word white in the first list (with a few derisive stereotypes throw in) with black.
How does it feel?
If you’re a person of color, I assume you were offended. No? So why would a white person not be offended by the actual document? What’s even more infuriating is the group that produced this Marxist garbage allegedly received $250,000 from the Department of Justice to promote “White Privilege.”
How do we end racism by engaging in racism? Well, that assumes the individuals who produce and publish this sort of nonsense want to end racism—quite the contrary. This is classic Marxism. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if the people who wrote the actual document didn’t graduate from Lenin’s Institute for Higher Learning in Moscow, where they teach such things as racial agitation and trade union building.
This sort of agitation between racial and ethnic groups is part and parcel to the praxis of Marxism. It is all part of the stages of Marxist-Leninist revolution.
The first stage of Marxist-style revolution is to “divide the people.” It is much easier for nefarious forces to take over from within when the people are going at each other’s throats. Marxists take honest grievances and “rub raw the resentments of the people,” as Saul Alinsky, author of the book Rules for Radicals, might put it. The point is to create conflict, especially where there was none.
Stoking up racial and ethnic divisions is accelerated when the forces employing such methods own the government, media and educational institutions of the land. This creates the “appearance of popular support.” Once the appearance of popular support has been achieved, anyone who would try and oppose the divisiveness and agitation being created by the Marxist operatives must be neutralized. One way to try and neutralize the opposition is to demonize, marginalize and ridicule the opposition in the harshest manner possible, i.e. “hate speech.”
Once the opposition has been neutralized, the real fun begins. The whole purpose of sowing hate, scorn and revulsion among the masses is to bring about conflict—to “precipitate mob violence.” When the riots rage and the blood begins to flow in the streets, the Marxist change agents will declare that the masses are calling for change—”create the semblance of revolution.”
One of the seeming ironies of Marxist-Leninist-style revolution is that diversity is required for conflict. But the conflict does not give way to more “diversity,” but rather sameness. If I were to boil Marxism down to one word, it would be sameness. In a purely socialist system, we will all think the same, act the same, live the same, look the same, make the same, etc. There will be no flavor for your fare, Comrade. We must have equality. This is the Marxian version of fairness. Of course, the ruling elites who run the socialist system will be living high on the hog, while the so-called masses are kept in state of permanent revolution—meaning, the problems, crises and conflict just goes on and on and on. Welcome to Marxist-Leninist revolution. Yeah … careful what you wish for, Comrade.
By the way, isn’t it interesting that the group who produced the White Privilege document I posted here call themselves the Beyond Diversity Resource Center? I would interpret that to mean beyond diversity toward sameness.
None of this is new. This is how Marxists subvert nations and groups to bring about pure socialism. It is never voluntary but coerced. The rule of law is replaced by the law of force. The individual means nothing. (That would mean you and me.) We are expendable. Only the “common greater good” matters, as the state defines the “common greater good”—which is ever changing, according to the capricious will of the state.
Communist leaders rarely refer to it as communism, but rather socialism. There really is very little difference between socialism and communism, only in the most academic sense, but certainly not in practice, as Ivor Thomas points out in his book The Socialist Tragedy (1954). Perhaps a better term would be collectivism—the group over the individual.
The stages of revolution mentioned here have been used all over the world to bring about communism. The communists stoked up division between Muslims and other ethnic and religious groups in Algeria in the 60′s. Christians and Muslims lived side by side, until Ben Bella and the communists came along. The same thing happened in Cuba. And Castro never admitted to being a Marxist-Leninist until after he had seized total control. The rest is history.
Manning Johnson, a black American who was a member of the Communist Party for 10 years before becoming disillusioned and leaving the Party in the 1950s’, wrote in his book Color, Communism and Common Sense:
The red propagandists distort the facts concerning racial differences for ulterior motives. All the right is not on the Negro side. Neither is all wrong. The same holds true with regard to the white man’s side. The repository of good or evil is not to be found in any particular race. Black men are just as good or as bad as white men. Yellow men are just as good or as bad as brown or red. It ill behooves anyone to speak about the other.
White men sold white men as slaves. Black men sold black men as slaves. Black rulers are no more humane than yellow, red or white rulers. Neither are they less brutal.
The placing of the repository of everything, right and just, among the darker races is a dastardly Communist trick to use race as a means of grabbing and enslaving the whole of humanity.
No group of people—whether white, black, red or yellow—has a monopoly on hatred. This is one of the greatest lies that has ever been foisted upon black America—that they can’t be racist. We all can be racists if we allow ourselves to devolve to the point where we see an entire group of people as being beneath us—subhuman, if you will … one of the ugliest terms for a human being ever uttered. For when we dehumanize and marginalize other people, we sow the seeds for unimaginable hatred and evil. Let history should be our teacher. Perhaps that is why the left is so averse to the teaching of history, instead replacing history with “social studies,” i.e. socialism.
The more things “hope and change,” the more they stay the same.
