It was explained by fat boy Moore why they are repeating everything and it makes sense. They are not allowed to have bull horns or any amps to speak to the crowd with. Those near the speaker repeat every word so that those in the back can hear. It kind of makes those that degrade them sound foolish for not speaking the truth.
