Sic Sarah On Obama

It’s hard to see the Republicans winning the US presidency unless they get real tough on Obama’s radical connections.

Sarah Palin is ideally placed to lead the attack. Obama is easy meat if the Republicans have the nerve for the job. Time to let Sarah-cuda loose.

I was sent this today from a US friend. Its a transcript of a recent Palin speech.

Perhaps the Republicans have finally woken up.

There is a lot of interest, I guess, in what I read and what I’ve read lately. Well, I was reading my copy of today’s New York Times and I was interested to read about Barack’s friends from Chicago.

I get to bring this up not to pick a fight, but it was there in the New York Times, so we are gonna talk about it. Turns out one of Barack’s earliest supporters is a man who, according to the New York Times, and they are hardly ever wrong, was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that quote launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and US Capitol. Wow. These are the same guys who think patriotism is paying higher taxes.

“This is not a man who sees America as you see it and how I see America. We see America as the greatest force for good in this world. If we can be that beacon of light and hope for others who seek freedom and democracy and can live in a country that would allow intolerance in the equal rights that again our military men and women fight for and die for for all of us. Our opponent though, is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country?”

Good start Sarah. Keep it up unless you want to go back to eating mooseburgers for the rest of your life.

  1. Here is where I get confused- there seems to be some real-big stretches among these relationships. There is a lot of evidence that suggests that Obama knows people who are questionable, but who doesn’t? What I would like to read, is how these relationships have shaped Obama into the candiate that we must be worried about. Exactly what stances, by Ayers and alike, have been hardpressed into Obama’s campaign? Again, I feel this isn’t something that should be ignored, but really- what are we going to find? Ayers wanted to attack the Pentagon, Obama has absolutely no association with it and has openly said it was a dispicable act. Yet, we keep talking about this relationship which has failed to show proof that Ayers and alike have heavily influenced the Obama campaign to the point we should be worried about their radical ideas.

How about we read something that has a positive spin on the candidate that you support, somebody who believes in the same core values that most Americans do. Do you think Palin, coming out and pulling shit out of thin air, and actually talking like she is well informed to be the next President, if necessary- is going to be good for the Republican Party? I think if McCain would actually try to touch base with the true conservatives, and not the neo-conservative media we watch on Fox and read all the time, then he would have more support and not need Sarah Palin to go out and make herself look worse. I am ashamed that you would encourage Palin to make these stretches instead of showing the disparities between the two candidates, showing the republican and independent bases what an McCain/Palin administration would look like, offering examples- and not stretches, of the experience that will help them be the next president, or maybe even work harder to re-connect with the people.

  2. I think it’ll hurt more than help McCain’s campaign. Americans are so used to lies and smears in politics that they don’t know what’s real and what’s not. Facts are ignored and voters follow image. Very few potential Obama voters will believe these claims and will only see it as Republican fabalising and muck-raking. In contrast to previously elections, the media’s position has become unashamedly slanted; Obama can do little wrong and McCain can do little right. Obama will almost certainly win – the only difference this campaign really makes is on whether he wins in 2012.

  3. Mr. Loudon. I always listen to Mark Levin, (top rating talk show host in the US) and on Thursday your name and web site were mentioned. (re Obama’s background) Well done. Levin has an audience of millions. He’s a constitutional lawyer, ex Ronald Reagan press secretary, and IMHO, one of the most brilliant political commentators around.
