The FBI has cut ties with the ADL, based on the group labeling conservatives like Charlie Kirk as “extremist.” Meanwhile, there was a communist-organized “Venezuela resistance meeting” in New York City on September 25 and it was held in a church. It goes without saying that the FBI does not monitor events like this, even though Venezuela is a major source of terrorism and drug trafficking.
Welcome to the fact that, despite new leadership and the firing of some Biden-era agents, nothing much has changed regarding the Bureau monitoring America’s “enemies within.”
As you may have heard, the Trump administration has deployed more than 4,000 sailors and Marines to the southern Caribbean to combat drug cartels, many operating from Venezuela. The President has since declared these drug cartels to be “unlawful combatants” and has told Congress the United States is in an “non-international armed conflict” with them. He has authorized military strikes on drug boats.
But here at home, in New York City, supporters of Venezuela operate out in the open, even meeting at Riverside Church, with some based at the United Nations.
The FBI believes these communist agitators are worthy of First Amendment protection. That attitude has not changed under FBI Director Kash Patel.
Several speakers at the September 26 Riverside church meeting were associated with the United Nations, a communist-front since the days when Soviet spy Alger Hiss was a co-founder and became its acting Secretary-General.
The sponsor of the event, the Workers World Party, has a record of supporting the enemies of the United States, from Russia to North Korea to Venezuela. Its people wrote up the meeting and what transpired. They organize openly in the United States and are behind many of the anti-Israel protests in New York City and other cities. You can usually recognize their members by their mass-produced signs with the same language.
This is America 2025. Even under President Trump, the FBI ignores the enemies within.
The Workers World Party was the last communist group investigated by the House Internal Security Committee. Since its termination, the Congress has had no panel investigating internal security threats.
“The September 25 event was a determined public meeting of forces who refuse to be silent in the face of President Trump’s violent military attacks on Venezuela and threatened repression of left forces in the U.S.,” reported the dispatch filed by Sara Flounders, a leading member of Workers World Party, and Tom Burke, a leading member of Freedom Road Socialist Organization.
My special report, “Inside the March 18, 2023 Washington, D.C. Communist Rally,” includes a section on Flounders, one of the speakers at a “Rhodes Forum” event sponsored by the Russians. The official sponsor, Vladimir Yakunin, was the chief executive of Russian Railways and is a long-time ally of Russian president Vladimir Putin. A former KGB official, he is a key player in “active measures” operations.
The “resistance” meeting was held “at the prestigious Riverside Church in Manhattan” and draped “in Venezuelan colors and flags of resistance.”
The communist Workers World Party was so proud of organizing this event under the noses of the FBI that their story went into significant detail about the sponsors. Here is what they disclosed:
“The solidarity meeting with the Venezuelan delegation to the United Nations General Assembly High Level Session was the initiative of Dozthor Zurlent of the Simon Bolivar Institute and William Camacaro of Bolivarian Circle in New York.
“The event was co-chaired by: Gail Walker, former, long-time Director of IFCO Pastors for Peace; Sara Flounders, who helps coordinate United National Antiwar Coalition and is a contributing editor of Workers World News; and Tom Burke with the Anti War Action Network and Freedom Road Socialist Organization.”
Yvan Gil, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, was a speaker and spoke earlier at the U.N. “to defend Venezuela against Trump’s lies and U.S. Navy attacks.”
You wonder why New York City is about to elect a communist mayor? Communists are all over the place, including at the United Nations headquarters.
Another speaker was Ana Teresita Gonzalez, the Director General of Consular Affairs, representing the Cuban Mission at the U.N.
Still another participant, described as “a special guest speaker,” was Husam Marajda of the U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN), who “set the tone” by declaring, “With the support of the people in this room and the people of the world, the Palestinian people will be victorious! We will finally defeat Zionism and apartheid and colonialism! We will free Palestine, from the river to the sea!”
That means wiping Israel from the map through another Holocaust.
The twenty groups represented on stage also included Code Pink, the Venceremos Brigade, and the U.S. Peace Council.
Code Pink is the Marxist group that ambushed President Trump at a private dinner in D.C. The Venceremos Brigade sponsors trips to Cuba so members can learn guerrilla warfare techniques. The U.S. Peace Council was subsidized by Moscow when it was the U.S. affiliate of the Kremlin front World Peace Council.
The communists are openly working with enemies of the United States but are so confident that the FBI is not monitoring their activities that they hold anti-American meetings in churches in New York City.
In my opinion, we need a “Secretary of War” running the FBI.
According to reports about the relationship between the ADL and the FBI, they had a “training and intelligence-sharing partnership.” It has now been terminated because the ADL was targeting conservatives like Charlie Kirk’s group.
Sadly, the termination of that “partnership” came too late to save Charlie Kirk’s life.
My “intelligence,” gathered from attending communist events, is available for free. I sent Director Kash Patel a letter on April 1 examining much of this intelligence but I never received a response.
Pardon me for saying that nothing much has changed at the FBI.
