Dr Anthony Daniel’s (pen name Theodore Dalrymple), is in NZ as the guest of the “Cradle to the Grave” coalition. Dr Daniels has worked in the British prison system and seen first hand the degradation caused by the welfare state.
He is one of the welfare state’s harshest and most eloquent critics and an enthusiastic advocate for private provision of social services.
Dr “Dalrymple” is the author of “Life at the Bottom” an excellent analysis of how welfarism inevitably leads to the creation of a permanent underclass.
