During a recent speaking tour through Ohio to conservative audiences, I encountered a few people indicating they may not turn out in the midterms for Trump and the Republicans. One John Bircher objected to the war on Iran, and another voiced concern about my prediction that the U.S. might have to return to the military draft to generate enough soldiers for the Third World War with China and Russia and their proxies.
When I answered both of them, they walked out in disbelief. They seemed prepared to let the Left take over Congress.
The outcome indicated the difference between Republicans and Democrats, the latter now under the sway of the Red-Green alliance. The Left practices the art of “praxis,” or acting even when they are unsure about the outcome. Witness what is happening in the streets of France, with “students” and communists and Muslims marching under the red Hammer-and-Sickle as they set schools on fire. They believe that action alone is the right course on the road to revolution. They will never stop until they take power in all of the Western and once-Christian countries.
Some Republicans, on the other hand, are ready to dump Trump because they are unsure about the future and are adopting the John Bircher or Rand Paul view that stopping Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons constitutes a “forever war” and is not worthy of their support. They are afraid of the future and are ready to turn it over to the Red-Green Alliance, the subject of a report that I completed on my visit to the Muslim-controlled city of Dearborn, Michigan, and the local mosque.
I warned the Ohio audience that while the military branches are meeting or exceeding their goals ahead of schedule, there is a problem. In total, 14.9 million men between the ages of 18 and 26 were registered with the Selective Service at the close of 2025, representing a national registration rate of 78.7 percent. A 78.7% registration rate is generally considered low relative to historical benchmarks for the Selective Service System, which historically targeted compliance rates closer to 90% or higher. To address this problem, under the National Defense Authorization Act, the government will begin automatically registering eligible men using federal agency data.
I suggested this won’t be enough, and that the return of the military draft will be necessary.
Whether this happens or not depends on whether the American people have the will to win.
The American people in World War II suffered through gas and food rationing, but during the Iran war the big gripe is higher gas prices. Americans learned to ration foods like sugar, coffee, cheese, and meats to defeat the Nazis.
In World War II, they built victory gardens and gathered up scrap metal for the war effort. A “victory speed limit” of 35 miles an hour was established to conserve gasoline and rubber tires. Toy companies were converted to making war material.
Today, Americans complain that a fill-up at the gas station costs $75.00 and that beef is too expensive.
The United States suffered approximately 1,078,594 total military casualties during World War II, while the Iran War (Operation Epic Fury), which began on February 28, 2026, has resulted in 20-24 deaths and 860 U.S. service members officially reported wounded.
I have concluded that many Americans today are spoiled brats under the influence of people, like the Birchers and Rand Paul libertarians, who have lost awareness of what our founders accomplished.
Consider Thomas Jefferson, for example. He fought the Muslim Barbary pirates without a declaration of war from Congress because he realized the new nation had to defend itself.
This is a point I made to the John Bircher in the audience when she objected to the “forever war,” about eight months in Iran.
If you don’t believe me, consider what “Super Intelligence” says. I asked Gemini, and here was the answer: “Thomas Jefferson did not get a formal declaration of war from Congress before deploying the military against the Barbary states.”
The source, the Bill of Rights Institute, said, “As soon as it became an independent nation, the US faced an ‘unconventional enemy’ in the Barbary Pirates who had controlled the Mediterranean Sea for hundreds of years. Presidents George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison all exercised their power as Commander in Chief in various ways to deal with the threat posed by the pirates before Madison was eventually able to declare victory against them.”
Here was the rest of the story: “By 1794, the pirates were holding dozens of US citizens for ransom. Thomas Jefferson, who was then President George Washington’s Secretary of State, advised Congress to declare war on the pirates. Congress did not heed his advice. Washington sent diplomats to negotiate for the prisoners’ release, but with no success. When John Adams became President in 1797, he continued paying the pirates. Congress continued to authorize payments. By the turn of the century, Congress was paying twenty percent of the US’s annual revenue to the pirates.”
In his First Annual Message to Congress, Jefferson announced that he had sent a small squadron of frigates into the Mediterranean but without seeking a declaration of war from Congress.
Eventually, Jefferson received statutory authorization for the war, but not a declaration.
Jefferson’s war against the Muslims was conducted in much the same way that President Trump has waged war on Iran. The difference is that Muslims today constitute a major political force in the United States, and they are running candidates for office such as Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, backed by such people as Senator Bernie Sanders, Vice President Kamala Harris, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
If the Left wins in November, what is happening in France will come to the United States. It may already be starting with the Cornel rape case, now in the hands of anti-Trump New York Attorney General Letitia James. The case “smells” like lawfare, notes Jack Cashill. Protests calling for action are already happening.
In France, the riots are being orchestrated by the so-called Unified Left Coalition, which includes the Communist Party and the Socialist Party, as well as French Muslims in Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s La France Insoumise (LFI), or”France Unbowed.” He wrote, Now, the People! Revolution in the Twenty-First Century.
Watch what is happening in France. It could happen here. It may already be set in motion.
