I know you’ve heard the “conservative” critics of President Trump. They don’t like the Iran war. Prices are still too high. He’s planning a surveillance state built on AI and data centers. He’s making money in office through crypto and is therefore corrupt. Blah. Blah. Blah. Hence, Trump voters will not turn out and thereby allow the “socialists” and “progressives” to take control of Congress.
Let’s start with the surveillance state canard.
Nothing that they’re planning through surveillance will ever compare to the COVID lockdowns, mandates, and censorship that we experienced under Biden. I will support Trump as long as he continues to dismantle the remnants of the Biden regime. He has done our country an enormous favor by trying to restore many of our constitutional principles.
To understand the full extent of what the Biden regime did, consult the reports issued by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Weaponization Working Group.
Let’s address the corruption charge against Trump.
George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were rich and profited off slavery. Would you have voted for them? Trump is making money to protect himself from future impeachments and the debanking efforts that were undertaken against him before. I happen to favor crypto as an alternative to gold and silver, a way to bypass fiat money and big deficits.
Meanwhile, the Trump accounts benefit all of our young people and are a great step forward for America as a whole. These accounts promise long-term financial security for millions of kids.
One last note about surveillance. Trump’s election gave me back my YouTube account, which was censored under Biden. Many other conservatives benefitted as well.
One critic wrote to me about the Iran war, saying that what he has done in “starting a useless war with Iran infuriates me” and that the comparison to Thomas Jefferson’s war on the Muslim Barbary pirates “is a stretch.” This critic added, “This war is for Israel and only Israel. Have you forgotten North Korea has nukes?”
A useless war with Iran? It’s an anti-American regime that has killed thousands of Americans. It is a war of self-defense.
The idea that the war “is for Israel and only Israel” is tinged with anti-Semitism. Iran was a threat to Israel, but its regime had killed thousands of Americans. It was producing nuclear weapons. The mention of North Korea having nukes is not Trump’s fault. That’s because of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Their 1994 Agreed Framework was supposed to halt North Korea’s nuclear weapons program, but it ultimately collapsed, and the program restarted, leading to North Korea’s first nuclear test in 2006.
In a previous column, “Carter Vs. Trump on Gas Prices and Gas Lines,” I noted that, under Democrat president Jimmy Carter, we lost Iran to the Shiite Mullahs and had gas lines in America. Under President Trump, there are no gas lines, and the remaining Mullahs fear for their lives and are stalling until the final victory by America over their brand of revolutionary Islam is achieved. The president’s deal with Russia for more diesel oil production is controversial, but he is responding to public demands for lower prices. We are in this predicament because the last major, full-scale oil refinery constructed in the United States was the Marathon Petroleum refinery in Garyville, Louisiana, which went online in 1976.
Many young people today have no memory or even understanding of what the Iranian revolution did to America and the world. Almost 50 years later, Trump is doing something about it. Sacrifices are required, but they are nowhere near what was required during World War II.
The midterms give us a choice: stick with Trump and diminish the power of the Mullahs or side with Marxist Democrats who want them to get stronger, in order to accelerate their plans to destroy Israel and, ultimately, America itself.
In addition to giving away the Panama Canal, Carter “normalized” diplomatic relations between the United States and Communist China in 1979, throwing the Republic of China on Taiwan, a democracy, under the bus. No one knows when Red China will invade the peaceful country, another potential disaster that Trump must now deal with.
On top of these betrayals, he facilitated the communist takeover of Nicaragua in Central America in 1979, giving his successor Ronald Reagan another foreign policy mess to deal with.
Meanwhile, if the “socialists” win the midterms, communists and anarchists are planning more street “protests,” like those in France. The “student unrest” is now spreading to Belgium and Italy, and those backing the riots have written an article, “Will 1793 Take Place?”
The article references the French Constitution of 1793, specifically Article 35 regarding the “duty of insurrection,” a document drafted and pushed through by the Jacobins shortly after they successfully purged their moderate rivals, the Girondins, from the National Convention in June 1793. It laid the groundwork for an emergency “revolutionary government” and the Reign of Terror, resulting in 30,000 to 50,000 people being killed at the hands of the Jacobins.
Around 16,000 to 17,000 people were officially condemned and executed by the guillotine after trial by the Revolutionary Tribunal.
A New York City-based organization calling itself Jacobin is appearing at a “Jewish Currents Live” daylong event on Sunday, October 11, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City, trying to draw liberal Jews into their campaign. Jacobin, which is also the name of a publication, strongly backs Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
In addition to the DSA, the Democratic Socialists of America, we can expect to see the following groups on the streets: the Party for Socialism & Liberation, Workers World Party, Communist Party USA, African People’s Socialist Party, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Socialist Unity Party, Spartacist League, Revolutionary Communist Party, and the Party of Communists USA.
The FBI doesn’t monitor these groups anymore because so many are tied directly to the Democratic Party.
This is the kind of “revolutionary energy” the “socialists” and “progressives” hope to unleash after the midterms if their allies take Congress away from the Republicans.
Get ready for this outcome if Trump’s voters sit on their hands in November.
