The Predicted Demise of Tulsi Gabbard

By: Cliff Kincaid

What is one to make of Tulsi Gabbard leaving the post of Director of National Intelligence, citing family health problems? One explanation for her appointment in the first place was that she was a former Democrat now on board with Trump’s modern-day America First movement. This credential fooled many in MAGA, such as Stephen K. Bannon, who boosted her and her associate Joe Kent.

Despite her history of patriotic military service, her flip-flops on political loyalties always raised serious questions about whose agenda she was serving.

Trump insider and investigative journalist Laura Loomer, who hosts a show, Loomer Unleashed, was a major critic of Gabbard and had called for her firing. After the announcement, Loomer declared, “Thank God Tulsi Gabbard resigned!!!” Loomer wrote in a post on X that “all of our enemies love Tulsi” and “you have to wonder why Russia and Iran love” her.

On the plus side, Gabbard had filed documents with the Department of Justice alleging that the Russia-gate hoax against President Trump required criminal charges against former officials, such as Barack Hussein Obama, once her political booster.

On the other hand, she won plaudits from fake news journalists such as Shane Harris of the far-left The Atlantic magazine, who claimed she was speaking “truth to power” when she claimed that Iran “is not building a nuclear weapon.”

President Trump had replied, “I don’t care what she said,” a strange comment from the person who nominated her, but understandable if the president knew or discovered something about how she came to that questionable position.

“America’s spies say Iran wasn’t building a nuclear weapon,” proclaimed outlets like PBS, referring to the Deep State’s official position, as reflected by Gabbard.

Perhaps Trump came upon some of our articles and videos about her previous views on Russia and Syria, and what “non-intervention” really meant to her.

“The Deep State is the permanent bureaucracy that is hardly ever replaced, and it thinks it knows better what,” observed Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

This is the real conspiracy, even bigger than Russiagate, in which Jews are the ultimate targets. After the October 7, 2023, massacre, they are fighting back with a vengeance, knowing another holocaust awaits them if Iran completes its nuclear project.

In our book Red Jihad, we examine the communist-Muslim alliance that stands to benefit from inaction by America and Israel in the face of the Iranian threat backed by Russia and China.

Fake news reporter Harris said, “Gabbard has long opposed U.S. military intervention in Iran and did not publicly come out in support of Trump’s decision to go to war. One of her top lieutenants quit in protest of the war.” That was Joe Kent, who then blamed Israel for U.S. involvement.

It is significant that Trump’s “America First” attitude has driven his war with Iran, since he recognized the reality of the regime’s “Death to America” nuclear threats against America, on top of the clear and present danger to the existence of Israel.

I had called the Gabbard pick “a Spy Scandal in the Making,” and my group, America’s Survival, sponsored several shows with analyst Trevor Loudon discussing why she is a security risk and why her nomination would backfire on President Trump.

In another program,  Mark Kramer, Director of Cold War Studies at Harvard University, discussed Trump’s Tulsi Gabbard nomination by saying that Syrian intelligence files, which have fallen into the hands of U.S. intelligence after the fall of the Iran-aligned government, may shed light on Gabbard’s secret visit to Russian ally Syria in 2017.

Perhaps these are now being shared with the CIA and played a role in her departure from the Trump Administration.

Recent claims that the CIA conducted a “raid” on Tulsi Gabbard’s office only make sense in the context of gathering the evidence Kramer and others were referring to.

I had always found it strange that, on March 19, 2020, then-Rep. Tulsi Gabbard dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Joe Biden for president, and went on to become a paid contributor on Fox News, lecturing the public about “integrity” in politics. Her career included attacks on President Trump’s foreign policy and her determination to see him defeated in 2020.

President Barack Obama had endorsed her congressional run in 2012, and she was given one of five vice chair positions on the Democratic National Committee after her victory. She was at Obama’s inauguration in 2013, saying she was honored to lunch with Obama, Biden, and others.

Gabbard filed a defamation lawsuit against Hillary Clinton in January 2020 over an interview in which Clinton called Gabbard a favorite of the Russians.  Her lawsuit declared, “Tulsi has been harmed by Clinton’s lies — and American democracy has suffered as well. With this action, Tulsi seeks to hold Clinton, and the political elites who enable her, accountable for distorting the truth in the middle of a critical Presidential election.”

Then, suddenly, she dropped the lawsuit.

Reuters news service reported, “Gabbard and her campaign filed a notice of dismissal that said they ‘remain certain of the action’s legal merit’ but wished to focus on the coronavirus crisis and ‘defeating Donald Trump in 2020, rather than righting the wrongs here.’”

After she visited Russian-backed Syrian dictator Assad in Syria in early 2017, Gabbard was accused of “attempting to provide legitimacy to Bashar Assad and his Iranian and Russian allies who have murdered hundreds of thousands of Syrian civilians,” as noted by the Syrian American Council.

But that regime was overthrown, and its ally in Iran has been obliterated by a joint U.S.-Israel bombing campaign that includes economic pressure to finally end its nuclear weapons program.

This strange turn of events must have something to do with Gabbard exiting the administration.
