Anti-Israel Propaganda from Moscow and the Institute for Policy Studies

Moscow and much of the US left, have a common goal – the destruction of Israel.

Phyllis Bennis

In this video, Moscow funded propaganda channel, Russia Today, which claims several million American viewers, gives a forum to one of Israel’s most effective enemies – Phyllis Bennis, of the Institute for Policy Studies.

Bennis is a smart operator, very intellectual, trying to seem almost objective and even handed, but it’s clear that she sees “Apartheid” Israel as a major evil in the world.

Bennis is a former member of Line of March, a militant Maoist organization, which in its latter days moved to a pro-Soviet position. Bennis was also involved with the magazine War Times, with Obama’s “former” communist “Green Jobs” Czar Van Jones.

Incidentally, both Barack Obama and Van Jones have served on the board of an IPS “partner” organization, the leftist New York non-profit, Demos.

Her employer, the Institute for Policy Studies, is the US’ most dangerous and influential leftist “think tank.” It’s a significant “ideas factory” for the Obama Administration and was once notorious for its ties to the Soviet KGB and Cuban intelligence.

Apparently, it is still playing to Moscow’s tune.

  1. Ms.Glennis does not mention the 12,000 missiles fired into Israel since ’06 when Hamas took it over, a year after Israel left. She does not mention that the Hamas Charter calls for the destruction of Israel. See the Hamas Charter here: http://www.thejerusalemfund.org/www.thejerusalemfund.org/carryover/documents/charter.html An excerpt from the Hamas Charter – “The prophet, prayer and peace be upon him, said: The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him! This will not apply to the Gharqad, which is a Jewish tree (cited by Bukhari and Muslim”)
