Obama Pays Tribute to Socialist Forerunner Cesar Chavez

The late United Farm Workers leader Cesar Chavez was trained by the famous Chicago agitator Saul Alinsky.

He worked closely with Communist Party USA members like Bert Corona and was closely affiliated to the US’ largest Marxist organization, Democratic Socialists of America.

Chavez marched under the famous slogan “Si se puede!” – later translated into English to become Obama’s 2008 campaign slogan “Yes we can!”

The Chavez movement was, in many ways the forerunner of the Obama movement. Overlapping personnel and constituent organizations, identical radical ideology.

Yesterday president Obama joined several leaders of the Alinsky/communist/socialist movement, including Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Obama Labor Secretary Hilda Solis and DSA icon Dolores Huerta, in a ceremony in Keene, California, where Chavez’s former home was officially designated  a national monument.

  1. Hi I’m a retired Vietnam vet. I served my country for 2 tours and saw many of my friends that I grew up with die in my arms. We fought against communism and socialism but never knew what they where. Can anyone here explain to me what the difference between socialism and communism and why they are bad?

    1. “…why they are bad?” ……are you kidding or are you an idiot. Just to post this shows you are no Marine. Seeing what is happening to our military internally, this doesn’t suprise me. You are probably one of those clapping seals that stands behind our dictator in chief whenever he gets in front of his teleprompters and claims he supports the military.

  2. Well I have different view,Chavez was one of last to opposed open borders among the left. His relatives support it. I don’t stand up for agri-business they hired thousands of illegal immirgants and got REagan to support the Irca which lead to the Mexican radical movment. Also, people have to pay for the illegal immirgants anchor baby children. Maybe, the guest worker program needs to be updated and Mexicans and Central Americans will not be hear long enough to have kids in the states on their low wages. Alos, currently we have a vista overstay problem.

  3. As someone who grew up in the Bay Area and saw firsthand Chavez’s Communist ways of agitation I’m appalled that we as a Nation have sunk so far as to “Honor” a Communist.

  4. Thanks, as a resident of L.A, familiar with the rotten ways of the Chicano Lefties, well placed inside every hole of the Democratic machine, it is easy to see how after honoring Dolores Huerta, another Chavez anarchista with the “Presidential medal of Freedom, recently, that when in L.A the cheapest way to pander to the Mexicans is by a little homage to Chavez. It costs nothing and the Hispanics here are sold on Obama. Anyone who listen to the Spanish talk radio, can tell how ignorant, unaware, badly informed the callers and the moderators are, here in L.A, it sound more like the Voice of Venezuela Chavez, when they speak live. I almost puked listening to the rubbish they were putting out this Sunday. All they could repeat is: El Romney, todos son mentiras…..Romney, it is all lies…where do they get these talking points?

  5. And just yesterday, a liberal academic at Columbia came out with a list of the 10 most overrated white people.

    Obama’s war on whites continues.
