Have You Made "The Pledge" Yet?

With National Party Prime Minister John Key wimping out big time over re-legalising smacking, I’m making a personal commitment.

87.6% of those who voted in the recent (non binding) referendum wanted to restore the right of parents to smack their children as part of their disciplinary responsibilities.

John Key has ignored the wishes of his employers and plans nothing but some bullshit “consultations”.

So here’s my pledge;

I Trevor Loudon will never vote for the New Zealand National Party, or any National Party candidate, in any future General Election in my lifetime, until the right of parents to responsibly smack their children is legally restored

.”

Just like the referendum question, its pretty clear isn’t it?

  1. Hi Trevor ~ I am just discovering your work and would like to thank you for the excellent research you have done on Van Jones.

Just a suggestion… you may want to edit and supplement the entry some leftist did for you on Wikipedia. I suspect that it will be getting a lot of hits from here on in, so better that the article be both accurate and complete.

Cheers from Canada ~ Boyd Jahnke

  2. I Sam Buchanan will never vote for the New Zealand National Party, or any National Party candidate, in any future General Election in my lifetime, whether the right of parents to responsibly smack their children is legally restored or not.

    Cheers Trev!

  3. Comrade Helen and her little oligarchy of socialist misfits tried very hard to turn New Zealand into a dirty little socialist backwater. She obviously had a measure of success. Now even the more conservative [supposedly] National Government has fallen into the culture of a nation having to take orders against its will from a politburo of dictators who believe they know better than parents about how to raise their children. What a tragedy when a nation's politicians are so gutless that they can't stand up against a flakey Green watermellon like Sue Bradford even when the vast majority of the population (87%) reject her ludicrous legislation. How glad I am to be on the other side of the ditch these days. Living in New Zealand would not be good for my blood pressure! Keep it up Trevor.

  4. Outstanding work Trevor in exposing Van Jones for what he really is, a criminal liar.
I am sure those in charge of this NWO will reward you with an extra blanket in Lubyanka.
The whole world is fast becoming a gulag and all the halfwits on the left can do is cheer and laugh.
Everyone by now should know what happens to the useful idiots, they will be turned into soap, biodegradable environmentally friendly soap of course.

  5. Loudon – your "personal commitment" never to vote for the "Notional" Party (except in the case of a byelection seemingly)marks your long overdue assumption of a rational stance.

Keep it up mate ! I have a "card" you may want to carry…….

  6. "I'm making a personal commitment" … oh yes, because this blog is completely impersonal, utterly unbiased and objective 😉
