How Is This Good For Kids?

My two kids go to the local creche, a couple of days a week.

It’s a great place, but sometimes the PC rules blow me away.

These filter down from the Ministry of Education. They are then incorporated into creche policy, as a condition of recieving government funding-as virtually all creches do.

I was told about the latest lunacy tonight.

From now on no baby can be put down to sleep in only nappies. They must also wear a T Shirt. No matter how hot it is (28 C yesterday).

No child may play in the paddling pool in just nappies-they must also wear a T shirt or top.

The reaon-creche workers must “respect the childrens’s bodies“. The children’s bare skin should not come into contact with a creche worker’s bare skin.

I am not making this up.

  1. I’ve found plenty of fault with the police in the past. Been threatened with arest for my attitude on a couple of occasions.

However, the anarchists and pseudo-libertarians who want to abolish public law enforcement officers make me laugh.

Just like I want an army to protect my country, I want a police force to protect me and mine from those who would do us harm.

Cushla, if your daughter was being raped, or your son being beaten by a gang of hoods, would you call the cops?

Course you wouldn’t-you’d talk things through and come to an amicable resolution to the problem.

No need to call the fascist cops, eh?

Me, I’d dial 111-then do whatever I could till help arrived.

  2. Yes lad I understand where your coming from .
From right under the big fat thumb of nanny state.

When you finally bust out one day and really want to do some of your own shit see how supportive your police heros are.

  3. Lighten up Cushla-anything that affects the healthy upbringing of my kids is worth highlighting as far as I’m concerned.

Being a good feminist, I thought you’d be happy about that.

I’ve expressed my belief in Louise Nicholas’ version of events before.

Clint Rickards has no future in the police and his mates are where they belong.

That said, I’m a police supporter and wish the force well in its efforts to put this matter behind them.

    Understand where I’m coming from?

  4. Well boo hoo.
Another squealy whinge about a non problem.
Very quiet you are about the rapist cops on this blog.
Where is the big libertarian boot going hard into the throat of nanny state when we need it?
