Socialists Outline Democrat’s Agenda for Next Two Years

Submitted by on November 29, 2012 – 3:52 am EST14 Comments

Contrary to popular opinion, the US Democratic Party does not set much of its own policy.

Democrat policy is actually dictated by the labor unions and radical think tanks, such as the Center for American Progress, and the Institute for Policy Studies.

The unions are dominated by the US’s largest Marxist organization Democratic Socialists of America – which also works closely with the C.A.P. and I.P.S.

So, by a process of osmosis and deliberate orchestration, D.S.A., and their friends in the Communist Party USA, effectively dictate Democrat policy at state and national levels.

On November 16, the Democratic Socialists of America National Political Committee released After the Election: Keep Fighting, a blueprint for DSA action and priorities for the first segment of Obama’s second term.

It is basically a guide to action for long time DSA ally Barack Obama and the Democratic Party, over the next two years.

Diverting money from the military to social spending will be a huge part of the agenda. After all, a strong US military is the major block to world revolution.

The push will be towards universal socialist healthcare and an economy wrecking Financial Transactions Tax.

Ending poverty through massive re-distribution will be a big focus… capitalizing on the 50th anniversary of DSA founder Michael Harrington‘s famous book “The Other America,” which helped to launch Lyndon Johnson’s catastrophic and completely counter productive  “War on Poverty” in the mid-1960s.

Students will be manipulated with promises of loan forgiveness. There will be a huge push for immigration reform. DSA leader Eliseo Medina, a leader of the movement, has openly boasted that this will mean eight million more Democrat Party votes.

The Right, backed by a toxic flow of big money into politics and shameless efforts at voter suppression, tried to turn the 2012 election into a mandate for a regressive political agenda. The Republicans intended to overturn the modest gains of the president’s first term and roll back progressive reforms dating back to the New Deal…

Taken as a whole, the results were a narrow but decisive victory for progressives that more than exceeded expectations, demonstrating just how out of touch the Republicans are. Progressive voters and their organizations can be justly proud of their role in achieving this result.

The challenges are many, and the best way not to lose heart is to address them sequentially. First, we must resist the immediate blackmail of the “Fiscal Cliff,” that illegitimate offspring of the “Deficit Crisis” mania that paralyzed Washington in Obama’s first term. DSA will work together in local coalitions with the many organizations of the Coalition on Human Needs to defend the interests of the working poor and most vulnerable members of society.

DSA will also advance sensible demands that may not be those of all coalition members. Cutting military budgets and recognizing that military projects are ineffective at generating jobs are essential to right the economy. Medicare is best fixed by expanding it to cover all, young and old. A financial transactions tax would go a long way toward reducing the deficit

In 2013, DSA will help mobilize for an August March on Washington for Democracy and Equality, making use of its 50th Anniversary Other America materials in its preparation. We also support the call of Cornel West and Tavis Smiley for a White House Conference on ending poverty.

And, we will organize for the YDS campaign for Affordable and Accessible Higher Education and to support the Student Loan Forgiveness Act.

Since the election results firmly placed immigration reform on the national agenda, DSA reaffirms its support for comprehensive reform that welcomes and eases the path for millions of new citizens and we will actively take parts in campaigns to achieve it.

DSA cannot try to do everything that should be done, but should strive to do a few things well. Part of our internal political education program, using GET UP (Grassroots Economics Training for Understanding and Power) materials, is to bring together our analytic and organizing skills so that we can better set and carry out our local and chapter priorities.

DSA is determined to use the breathing space won in the election campaign to refocus our resolve and strengthen our work for real social justice.

Until conservatives and Republicans realize that they are opposing a Marxist dominated party, they are destined to a series of defeats on the way to political oblivion.

This is no longer the party of Truman or Kennedy, but the party of Marx, Lenin, Alinsky and Gramsci.

The old rules of fair play no longer apply. The modern Dems will lie, cheat, steal elections and viciously demonize their opposition at every opportunity.

Republicans are no longer fighting old line Democrats. They are effectively battling D.S.A, the Communist Party and the labor unions. The Democrats are simply a front for the Marxists.

These people play dirty, and they play for keeps.

  • We are so screwed. I can’t believe people can be so blind to what is happening & ignorant towards history. It’s a horrible day when a Commie can win a Presidency twice by giving away free stuff with MY tax dollars.

  • DA says:

It’s over. We can never win the white house back through election, the fraud is so rampant and the commies dont really bother to hide it anymore. Get out while you still have a dollar in your wallet, and maybe should swap that dollar for a piece of silver while you still can.

Lets get to the shooting part now-I’ve had enough of this foreplay-it’s going to come to this anyway, might as well get it over once and for all.

Conservatives Must Learn the Dark Arts of Image Manipulation. Conservatives need to read and heed the advice written in this article if they ever expect to defeat the Liberal Manipulation machine.

Image manipulation has been a useful tool for the left ever since liberalism turned transcendental as long ago as the New Deal. FDR put a lot of effort into attacking business interests as “malefactors of great wealth,” slimy manipulators exploiting a helpless public, secure behind their green dollar-sign vests while the Depression raged outside their well-carpeted offices. In fact, businessmen and bankers of the early 30s were as overwhelmed and terrified as any everyday wage earner. The suicides of ruined financiers and company owners are far from mere legend. (One of the iconic photos of the Depression depicted a former stockbroker, middle-aged, well-dressed, and with a slight shameful smile on his face, selling apples on a New York street corner. He had gotten tired of fleecing the public, I guess.)
Since that time left-wing image manipulation has continued unabated through the Cold War (when conservatives were pilloried as McCarthyists), the Civil Rights Era (racists, naturally enough), the Reagan era, (the “decade of greed”), and the Bush era, which introduced “neocons”, a distortion of a very real faction which no leftist could have accurately defined if hung out a window by his heels.
Under this onslaught, conservatives simply sat there stupefied, like pinstriped versions of those clown dolls that pop back up when hit. The left worked every possible theme from every possible angle through every possible medium, from the printed press through entertainment, though academia and finally though the Net and social media. These efforts have been highly effective, and are one of the primary explanations as to why left-wing progressivism remains a serious force in a society so inhospitable to it.

So close, yet so far away from the truth. Socialism and Marxism is merely a phacade (fake front) for the establishment of a tiered Class society made up of the Priveleged, the Collectors, and the Workerbees (Serfs).

The Privileged are the politicians, bureaucrats, unions, greens, attorneys, pols, media and a few assorted others… They strive to live outside normal market forces, using the Collectors to suck the life energy from the Serfs to support their Privileged lifestyles and goals.

The Collectors are the private sector wheeler dealers that make the private sector Marketplace work — most everything that happens in the private sector marketplace comes under their guidance in some form or another. They live and prosper by successfully navigating thru government rules and regulations as well as marketplace rules to provide a product or service of some sort to the marketplace.

In the Democrat’s tiered class society, high taxes on the Collectors are used to collect the life energy from the Serfs and pass that on to the Privileged so they may live outside normal market forces. The Collectors are ideal for this task since they are a minority of the population, and many workerbee Serfs are easily played as suckers by the Privileged using the class envy card to raise taxes on ‘the man’. Go figure how taxing their boss will help any workerbee get better pay or work conditions, but that’s the nature of ignorance…

The Workerbee Serfs are the typical private sector worker who lives his live within the private sector and it’s various marketplaces full of services and products. They are typically decent hard working folks who’d just as well prefer to be left alone. Every election cycle, the Privileged come at them with all sorts of promised benefits if only they vote for the Privileged politicians and their class envy policies. However, there isn’t enough left from the Privileged gorging themselves to pass much of any real value on to the Serf’s other than “hope for change” someday…

It’s been a great system for the Privileged as far as counting votes goes. It’s not such a good system when it comes to counting money and balancing budgets. However, balanced budgets and common sense isn’t important to the Privileged since they live a fantasy world largely outside of normal market forces. Things like budgets and counting money is only important to the Collectors and others living by marketplace rules. So don’t worry too much — when this multi-tiered house of cards all comes crashing down, the Privileged will be just fine with their bloated benefit retirement and health plans.

    Bingo.
Talk of Jeb Bush/Chris Christie – after Dole/GWBush/McCain/Romney – shows the G.O.P. does not *want* to “learn”…please refer to Bill Whittle’s video “What it would be like to have a candidate who really believes in conservatism”.

    G.O.P. = R.I.P.

It is documented history that the democrat party was established here in 1924 by the early American communist movement under the direction, guidance, and funding of the mother communist party in the USSR.

It began with the labor union movement, which is what communism IS, (“workers of the world-unite!”; “DICTATORSHIP of the proletariat”; etc. They are both part of the same package, the unions are the democrat party’s recruiting and fund raising apparatus, and in turn, the democrat party serves as the unions’ political prostitute.

Compare the democrat party platform with Ch. 10 of the USSR Constitution and see most of it word for word. Compare the democrat party platform with the program of the CPUSA and see it is identical. The democrat party is an appendage and front organization of the CPUSA. The CPUSA’s Sam Webb is cheering their victory with the re-election of obama, announcing the “Dawn of a New Era” in a communist Amerika. They have finally pulled off a successful coup and overthrown our country. Go figure.

  • Trevor says:

Those who think they can shoot their way out of Obamamism, are in for a rude shock in my opinion.

For a start, such a rebellion would be sporadic and quickly crushed.

Obama would then have a perfect excuse to crack down on his opposition.

If the insurgency did actually get underway, obama would simply call in the united nations.. Russian, chinese and cuban troops would be patrolling American streets.

Violence is not an option..people should stop pretending that it is.

  • Robert R says:

The Democrat Party has been in the process of being taken over by the Socialist/Marxist Parties of the USA since the mid seventies. In the mid eighties most of the moderate Democrats left the Party and became Known as the NeoCons. Along with the Progressive Republicans they conquered the Republican Party. The New Democrat Party should be referred to as NeoDems or the NeoProgs.
They are not the party of my father. They are the now the Political arm of the DSA and CPUSA. Just look how many of them caucus as the DSC and are willing to openly proclaim their ties to the DSA and the CPUSA.

I repeat: The Democrat Party is the POLITICAL ARM of the DSA and the CPUSA.
