A new book, Flesh, Blood, and Wonder, examines “Eucharistic miracles,” in which the real presence of Jesus Christ, in the form of flesh and blood, has allegedly been found in communion hosts. Cliff Kincaid interviews author Daniel Green about these phenomena, comparing it to extensive media coverage of outer space aliens. Eucharistic miracles get less attention but have the potential to be confirmed as real or false since a physical change in the communion wafer can be observed and studied.
