On April 3, in New York City, I witnessed in person the nature of the “Red Jihad” alliance of international communism and global Islam, as opponents of the United States and Israel gathered at the headquarters of Revolution Books and the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) in New York City. I was met with posters of President Trump depicted as Hitler, while Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were denounced as “fascist genocidal imperialists” and war criminals.
These epithets seem designed to encourage or incite the assassination of the President. Failing that, the RCP wants the impeachment of President Trump, a so-called “People’s Indictment.” This is the agenda of the national Democratic Party today as it enters the midterm elections of 2026.
This “bookstore,” located in the black area of New York City known as Harlem, is the headquarters of the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) and was advertising an event the next day featuring a “RevCom” speaker on the topic “STOP the U.S.- Israel War on Iran: A Month of Lies, Unprovoked Aggression, and Imperialist War Crimes.”
The Revolutionary Communist Party was started by Bob Avakian, an associate of communist terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn in the group Students for a Democratic Society.
Marxist documents are still being issued in his name, with the latest entitled, “HUMANITY ON THE BRINK: A Forced March Into the Abyss, or Forging a Way Forward Out of the Madness?” 2 Known as “Chairman Bob,” he is the authentic Maoist who proposes a “Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America.”
“Chairman Bob” was writing about the historical forces that he said would lead to the collapse of America for decades, and is regarded by his followers as the new Karl Marx. The Marxist view is that communism emerges as the result of the historical process of slavery, feudalism, capitalism, and socialism. It would be laughable were it not so serious, and if communist and socialist groups active in the national Democratic Party were not attempting to create a “new socialist republic” in the USA and adopting the Trump as Hitler rhetoric.
The communists and Muslims understand something: Trump’s foreign policy has put Russia and China, and their client states such as Iran and Cuba, on the defensive. Oil-rich Venezuela, a satellite of Cuba, has already come under American influence as a result of Trump’s capture of dictator Maduro by U.S. forces.
Avakian’s analysis of the war in Iran describes maintaining Israel as a “western-oriented” state to be of “decisive importance for the U.S. imperialists, and in turn the Zionist (Jewish supremacist) nature of Israel is of critical importance in maintaining Israel as this bastion of support for U.S. dominance, especially in opposition to the influence of Iran — and beyond that Russia, and increasingly China — in this strategic region.”
If one strips away the communist rhetoric and jargon, one can see that the communists believe a defeat of Iran will be a major setback for Russia and China “in this strategic region.” Our book, Red Jihad: Moscow’s Final Solution for America and Israel, cites substantial evidence of Russian involvement with the Jihadists targeting Israel, Europe, and the United States.
RevCom believes in a world dominated by Red China, referring to the China that was created under Mao, the greatest mass murderer in history.
Avakian promotes a “New Communism” and asserts that groups like the DSA, the Democratic Socialists of America, are too close to the national Democratic Party and need to embrace more “revolutionary” strategies and tactics. Ironically, however, Avakian urged communists to vote for Joe Biden for president in 2020.
His “Bob Avakian Institute” accepts tax-deductible donations and is based in Chicago, a tax advantage that continues to this day.
The frequent claim by Democrats and “No Kings” protesters that Trump is a fascist seems to have originated with the RCP. My trip to their headquarters saw numerous posters showing Trump with a Hitler mustache and the slogan, “Mein Trumpf.” This has been their signature issue. To appeal to blacks, they depict Trump as a “genocidal racist.”
In fact, the Revolutionary Communist Party is one of many communist groups active in New York City, now under the control of Muslim Communist Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who is a believer in Shia Islam, the dominant ideology of Iran. One is tempted to dismiss the significance of this and other communist groups, but they represent a significant political force in the city.
Another major communist bookstore and hub of communist organizing activity in New York City is the People’s Forum, which is directly linked to the Party for Socialism and Liberation and is financed by millionaire Neville “Roy” Singham, an American businessman based in China. It includes a communist bookstore called 1804 Books, named for “the year of the victory of the Haitian Revolution, which set the path of liberation in the Americas.” Today, however, Haiti is what Trump called a “shithole country,” for it is dominated by bloodthirsty gangs, many of which have recruited hungry children and given them guns. The United Nations has authorized a “Gang Suppression Force” to try to restore stability there. Approximately 95 percent of the Haitian population is black.
The People’s Forum is significant in the communist realm, for it offers a course on Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, more commonly known as Lenin, described in course materials as “a well-loved revolutionary across countries and movements, whose name embodies the spirit of working-class internationalism.”
Its latest cause, “Let Cuba Live,” proclaims “Stop Donald Trump’s Cruel Assault Against the Cuban People,” referring to the U.S. campaign of isolating the communist regime and forcing the communists to cede power and release political prisoners.
In a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel on the need for the FBI to probe the Communist-Muslim alliance, I noted that there are federal statutes that can be used against members of these groups and their patrons, in order to identify and register communist groups as foreign agents linked to Iran, Cuba, Russia, and China. Communists openly organize on American soil, in violation of the Communist Control Act, a law still on the books but not enforced. Look it up: 50 U.S. Code § 841.
The last congressional panel to investigate these networks was the House Internal Security Committee, the successor to the House Committee on Un-American Activities. It published a 1974 study linking the communist Workers World Party (WWP) and its front organizations to Cuba, Arab terrorists, and prison agitation. This committee was abolished by congressional liberals in 1975.
The WWP is still in existence but has been superseded by the Party for Socialism and Liberation and its front, the ANSWER Coalition. These groups helped elect Zohran Mamdani and depict President Trump as a new Hitler and “genocidal racist,” stoking further fears of his assassination. The new Attorney General MUST act against them.
