I hope those who look on human nature as good have taken another look. Evil is all around us. The Epstein files prove beyond doubt that evil has infected the highest levels of our government and that a cover-up of the sexual abuse has been orchestrated over the course of decades. But how do we root it out?
Before we get there, consider those who have studiously ignored the dimensions of the evil among us. You can tell who they are, for they move on to other matters. They distract our attention, preferring not to talk about the moral corruption in America.
I have counted several different groups of people who have a vested interest in ignoring the Epstein scandal.
One is a group of Catholics who understand that something similar has happened in the Roman Catholic Church and its American branch, in the form of those with priestly collars who abused kids, and the bureaucratic cover-ups. If these Catholics were to focus on the offenders in the Epstein network, the response would be that they are implicated in a similar scandal. The Catholic Church has no moral authority anymore. That’s why people are leaving the church.
Another group reluctant to tackle the Epstein matter includes the knee-jerk supporters of Israel who think Epstein’s relationship with former Prime Minister Ehud Barak will damage the cause of Israel. I don’t think they are correct, although the evidence is overwhelming that a faction in Israel utilized Epstein for their own purposes. I am sure the same is true for the CIA and the KGB. This is what intelligence agencies do.
Still another group is afraid to dig into the files because it might prompt a renewed interest in the adulterous affairs of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. He is an icon considered to have high moral character. In fact, he was a disgraceful sex addict who was also a plagiarist.
King had his own network, not as large as Epstein’s, but quite extraordinary. King’s network included identified communists, much like Epstein’s did. King had a major impact on government policy through “civil rights” legislation expanding the role of the federal government in our lives, and became a voice, under communist influence, in advocating the abandonment of South Vietnam to the communists.
Still another group disinterested in Epstein is comprised of “journalists” too lazy or too embarrassed to cover the story. These, like Stephen K. Bannon, who tried to rehabilitate Epstein, sit on their asses, waiting for the rich and powerful to feed them a tidbit of “inside” information about some perceived “scandal” with no consequence. They like to think they are in the MAGA inner circle and get invited to conservative conferences.
The Epstein scandal has changed everything. Life will never be the same. We must react accordingly.
As we contemplate the future of America, in this 250th anniversary year, we need to get back to church, not in the brick-and-mortar sense, but in the spiritual sense. We must recapture the moral strength of our first president and general in the Revolutionary War, George Washington, who would not tolerate sexual deviants in his army. He court-martialed a homosexual.
That means following the Ten Commandments and recognizing the reality of evil in our midst, such as what happened in Canada, where a boy pretending to be a girl opened fire on students and his own family. Transgenderism is only the latest manifestation of evil in the world.
Not to leave Canada aside for a second, their curling team has been caught twice cheating in the Olympics. Forget their bravado and claims of moral superiority over Americans.
Finally, the Trump White House, which has failed to be honest about the impact of the Epstein files, has got to get its act together.
Arguing for voter ID laws, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt the other day noted that Barack Hussein Obama presented his own driver’s license to vote in the 2012 election. Obama was photographed showing his Illinois driver’s license to poll workers.
She misses the point. Obama was never a legitimate and authentic American citizen qualified to be president of the United States. Everything about his identity stinks to high heaven. Do we have to go over all of this again?
His chief legal counsel, Kathryn H. Ruemmler, just resigned from Goldman Sachs, the big bank, over her many communications with Epstein, including an email where she claimed to have gotten an award from Obama CIA Director John Brennan.
Brennan is the key to understanding how Obama, without adequate documentation of his American identity, became president.
But in addition to that matter, there is the issue of Obama’s personal history of sexual perversion.
As a young man, he was under the influence of Communist Party member and suspected Soviet espionage agent Frank Marshall Davis. Davis, who died in 1987, was a heavy drinker and marijuana user who wrote a pornographic novel, Sex Rebel, disclosing that he had sex with children, including a 13-year-old girl. Sympathetic Obama biographer David Maraniss confirmed that an Obama poem about Davis, titled “Pop,” included strange lines about stains and smells on shorts. Writer Jack Cashill said the poem has definite “sexual overtones.”
Obama’s dope smoking was such that he joined the “Choom Gang” of stoners and, as president, he ushered in the “permanent revolution” of cultural Marxism in which Epstein and his collaborators thrived.
With God’s help, we have to dig ourselves out of this.
