CDA4Residents of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho are in shock this morning as the pastor of the Altar Church remains in critical, but stable condition after being shot up to six times in the back. Pastor Tim Remington had just left a service yesterday… one day after saying the invocation over a Ted Cruz rally. Mr. Remington, an outspoken advocate for conservative and Christian causes in the Gem State, delivered a prayer for Ted Cruz at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds on Saturday with 3,000 supporters. This didn’t hit the media and no one seems to be tying it to Ted Cruz, but my mind immediately went there. If this had been Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders it would have been all over the news.

Kyle Andrew Odom, who is 30 and comes from Coeur d’Alene, is now the suspect in this case. He fled after shooting the pastor and is considered armed and dangerous. Odom was a Marine – one of his shots hit the pastor’s head, another hit his lung. I’m not sure how Remington survived the attack, but by the grace of God he did and it looks like he’ll make a full recovery. Odom fled the scene in a silver 2004 Honda Accord with Idaho license plate K578519, police said. Odom has blond hair and blue eyes, is 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds. This all happened in the parking lot of the church. Odom was a corporal in the Marine Corps and studied biochemistry at the University of Idaho, according to his Facebook page.
