Gary worked 38 years in the printing paper industry. 30 of those years as a salesmen in the metro Detroit area, selling to commercial print shops.
He has been retired now for over 4 years. He is currently the president of the SE Michigan 9.12 Tea Party. “While serving in the 912 TP, I’ve gotten to know great patriotic people who want to make a difference in preserving our freedoms of this great country.”

I’ve been to several of your events at Dave & Buster’s. I received a brochure from Macomb Comm College for Senior Classes. Here is a class that is being taught on May 9th, 10 am to noon. It is taught by Steve Elturk who is the Imam & Pres of the Islamic Org of North Amer in Warren. A member of the Religious Leaders Forum of the Interfaith Leadership Council of Metro Det (IFLC). He is a publically engaged Muslim leader & leading interfaith activist in the Det area. The class is called : Sharia II: Aims & Objectives (so there must have been a first one). Continue the learning process about Sharia law & the emerging Islamophobia & anti-Sharia movement in Amer that creates doubt & fear. Many people & institutions present Sharia as an antiquated Islamic law that is barbaric & has no regard for democracy, human rights, women’s freedom, etc. But “the opposite is true: Social welfare, freedom, human dignity & human relationships are among the higher objectives of Sharia.” This class is designed to clarify these aspects of Sharia.
I guess I am stunned !! How many people will listen to this & believe it ? This is under SOAR Comm College…Society of Active Retirees.
