  2. Suzanne. he is perfectly eligible. He was citizen at birth through his mother. The country he was actually born in is irrelevant.

To be a natural born citizen, both parents have to be citizens of the U.S. at the time of the child’s birth.

      U.S.Constitution Article II section 1 clause 5

“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

Even Ted Cruz knows he is not a natural born citizen. I have heard two interviews with Ted Cruz, both interviewers asked him about his status to be President. Both times Ted Cruz replied, “I am a citizen by birth, my mother was an American citizen.”

  3. It is so important for every citizen to know that Mr. Cruz is NOT eligible to be president as he is NOT a Natural Born Citizen, a requirement of our Constitution since both parents must be US citizens at the time of the child’s birth. He was also born in Canada. This applies also to Jindal and Rubio AND “O”. Where was our congress to stop this.
