I just want to know if Idaho has lost her ever-freaking mind. I would laugh at this except I know it is not a joke and in reality what they are practicing for is societal collapse and civil unrest. Gee, I wonder whose bright idea this was? Surely it has the approval of Governor Otter who seems to have shifted to the dark side. He is signing Idaho up (along with the majority of Republicans in this state I might add) to accept Obama’s health care exchange and in return, Idaho gets millions. I am sure Otter’s 30 [million] pieces of silver seem a great boon to him; to the patriots of Idaho, it is more like treason. Once the state door is open to these Progressive vampires, they go all out. The latest invited in is evidently FEMA.

Yes folks, FEMA will hold a Zombie Apocalypse/Alien Invasion drill in Moscow, Idaho on April 27th, from 9 am to 5 pm with 100 goons and/or dupes participating. This is a full-scale exercise. Guess what? I may go see this for myself. Moscow is full of good people. I almost moved there. I know they don’t condone this farce of a pretense. I wonder why they picked Moscow? There’s a university there, but it is a small town. Boise would have been the logical choice, but I don’t think logic has anything to do with this.

There are 2 scenarios: mass casualty and a rope rescue. All Latah Co first responders and nearby counties will be participating. CERT will be assisting in the EOC and other duties as deemed necessary.

Mass casualties? From what? A blizzard? Flooding? Neither of those are likely at all. More likely, mass casualties from civil unrest and the Obama administration clamping down hard on the area. I find this very disturbing. Maybe there’s a “logic” to it after all: Moscow is a small town, off the beaten path, with a pool of willing, uh, “participants” to recruit for such an exercise. Doing this in a larger venue might attract press, remote small-town Idaho, not so much.

Hey, any excuse to practice shooting at unarmed citizens, right? The government is using citizen target profiles to practice with as well, while buying up all the arms and ammo they can get their evil hands on. They are also stockpiling food and medicine. I’m sure this is all just a coincidence – not. If FEMA and the CDC were truly concerned in prepping for emergencies to ‘protect’ civilians, they would go about it seriously. Instead, they are practicing on how to take us down in case of an emergency, while trying to sell it as humorous. Look at the funny government! Don’t pay attention to what they are really practicing for. I seriously doubt it is Zombies or Aliens. The government thugs and our local leaders make it seem sooo silly, that no one will take it seriously (at least they hope that is the case). They want everyone to view it as entertainment, like a movie and not real. Do they really think we are that stupid? Why, yes they do. It’s like reality TV, without the reality or the TV.

While the nut cases and the conspiracy theorists will thrill to this, you should be thinking in real terms. For instance, if the economy tanks, which is VERY likely, the government knows there will be riots and violence. They are preparing for how to quell these events. Which is why the choice of Moscow, Idaho has me confused. The Coeur d’Alene/Post Falls/Hayden area is close and much bigger in population. So, I will have to keep noodling on their choice of cities. Perhaps it is a county/regional thing. In which case, those in Moscow need to be asking some hard questions of their leaders.

I would really like to know what Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch have to say about this. I would also like to know what Congressmen Raul Labrador and Mike Simpson have to say. I don’t care if it is their area of the state or not – this affects all of us.

The person organizing this at FEMA is Sandy Rollins. Here is her contact info at Citizen Corps (that creeps me out all by itself – or as Obama would say: ‘Citizen Corpse’):

Nothing makes much sense anymore. We cuddle with the Muslim Brotherhood and support terrorists and tyrants. The US is broke and we are gutting our military, but we can send fighter jets to Egypt. We are supposedly protecting the homeland, but we release over 2000 illegal immigrants, many with violent records with a promise that they will check in. We leave our borders wide open. We are redistributing our wealth to nations all over the planet, while running FEMA drills across the country for reasons that just don’t make sense. Unless of course you include civil unrest and martial law in the equation. And possibly war. All this while our leaders are trying to disarm us and nullify the Second Amendment and the Constitution itself. Do the revolutionary math.

Believe it or not, most people aren’t bothered by all this. They just think it is the government running drills and is normal. It is not normal folks. Not at all. And the costs have to run into the many millions if not billions. How can we afford this, especially since it is unnecessary?

There are military drills being run all over the country now. Tammy Bruce reports there have been drills in LA. I’ve seen reports on Houston, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Phoenix and the list goes on and on. These drills included helicopters and repelling military into the heart of cities. All I can say, is trust your gut. This will not end well.

The government is prepping Idaho — maybe reminding us we’re not out of reach? — as part of its overall plan for the US and her citizens. Believe me when I say that it has nothing to do with Zombies or Aliens (well, maybe illegal aliens). Something wicked this way comes, folks. And it’s not cute. And it’s not theater. It will be very real. Life-and-death real.

Note: The web page has now been taken down from the FEMA web site, citing that this post (on a Sunday) caused so much negative response, it had to be removed. I’m just a blogger on a backwater blog asking questions about stuff that doesn’t seem right. You never know what question is going to start a storm.

  1. More federal agencies buy multithousands of rounds of ammo AUGUST 15, 2012 BY: ANTHONY MARTIN

SAN DIEGO, CA — The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ran anti-terror drills in which civilians dressed as zombies were gunned down indiscriminately by soldiers and police. Detailed makeup was used as well as pyrotechnics. This exercise was coordinated by the HALO Corporation.

  2. Terresa,
Thank you for the good article. I wonder if Jeff is as green and naïve as his comments suggest or just too eager to feed at the government trough which you mention. If this were on the level why would they not prepare for a disaster at the nuclear reactor or chemical store house he mentions.
Training for zombies and UFOs. Zombies don’t exist other than in sci-fi where they are shot. UFOs are the fallen angels which are known as demons. They can only be dealt with by a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by his death – burial-resurrection for our salvation.
A good question here would be why? Training is supposed to be based upon reality to practice skills needed in a real event. What are the skills to be used here? Rational thinking doesn’t seem to be one of the skills involved.
I encourage everyone to stop, take a deep breath and think for themselves about all that is going on; not only here, but everywhere. Believers and non-believers are talking of end times. Only Jesus Christ gives us the answer and it is a positive answer. Ask for and accept Christ as your personal savior for forgiveness of sins and you will be saved and forgiven. Nothing will then be able to separate you from the love of Christ. Please don’t put it off as the Rapture before the great tribulation is imminent.
Would you prefer to believe the government? FEMA? What are their plans for your future?

  3. @ Jeff & Troy – I want to thank you both for what you do. It’s enough for most of us to put in our normal 60 hour weeks to keep the bills paid and the necessities covered. The extra mile is a stretch. I know from experience.

I’ve reviewed Terresa’s article and the responses above.

Those who see malice in her post are missing the point. Friendly fire, as it were.

She’s not throwing rocks at the first responders, nor at the local coordinators.

Her concern is much like mine: federal command & control of local matters is generally a bad idea. The “zombie” theme was simply absurdity icing on the federal intrusion cake.

I don’t have a complete history of CERT and its placement(s) in the federal hierarchy, but I mean to remedy that.

While I understand the Catch-22 of training for scenarios which may never happen, while somehow never being quite ready for the event which actually does occur, and appreciate that funding for such training is always a problem, the FedGov — and FEMA in particular — don’t have a shiny, enviable record of real world performance where the rubber meets the road.

I don’t claim to have a nice neat answer to the preparedness thing, but to place the trust for that domain in the hands of the folks who routinely fumble the ball seems like a bad plan.

I value Idaho and her citizens a great deal, and from her other writings I know Terresa does too.

The fed guys? Not so much.

  4. Well young lady more good news you surely have grace without you maybe realizing it your articles are dead on with the Nwo luciferian Catholic Church waiting for there alien savior with there telescope named none other then lucifer you are in my prayers go deeper into the rabbit hole do not be freighted by the way I a old man am a real Roman Catholic not a luciferian one following the broken cross mark of the beast

  5. The citizens of this country need to be vigilant to the truths within their government. Terresa Monroe-Hamilton is unfortunately correct about our current government. I have friends inside the federal government in positions of “trust”. You should take steps to protect your families and keep as much pressure on government politicians as you can.

  6. One additional comment:

I’m not sure where you live, but if there is ever some kind of large-scale disaster, I certainly hope that your emergency responders have engaged in large scale training. Because if they haven’t, more people than necessary will probably die.

And if they don’t conduct such training because of “articles” like this… and yeah, especially in smaller towns, this kind of attack can certainly have such a response… then you will bear a modicum of responsibility in this matter.

Large scale disaster training has been going on for DECADES. Now, because these events are funded via DHS/Homeland, they are nefarious. It’s the same money as always, funneled through different channels. The local cops and paramedics don’t give a flying crap where it came from, they just do the training.

Last, I find it interesting that we are, as conservatives and libertarians, to ‘question with boldness,’ yet when I take this article to task with first hand KNOWLEDGE of the particulars my comments are dismissed.

    1. Hey Jeff,

I’m trying to make sense of your comments and you’re just not making any sense. For example, within hours of this article’s publication when very few people had seen it yet, you said, “and she told me she has pulled the web page because of the vast amount of negative response she has received.”

So… she received a “vast amount of negative response” and pulled the web page. It’s pretty obvious that you’re ranting here simply because this article expressed the “negative response” that a vast number of people already felt.

So you’re railing against this article that just happens to have its finger on the pulse of what MANY already feel. You found someone who did a fantastic job in presenting the facts and articulating what was so wrong about this event and you decided to rail on her for daring to speak the truth about an event you’re personally involved in. Very “Alynsky” of you.

Even in your multiple responses, you haven’t yet given any details from the article that are factually incorrect. You do, however, state that federal funding is used for these events.

I get it… you’re feeding at the government trough by personally participating in this event and you want to try to squash anyone who speaks the truth about all these events that are happening all over the country.

Also, your responses make it sound as though emergency personnel have never been trained before… that this is all new. Are you kidding me?! Emergency personnel have received local training over and over again; it’s what they do; it’s their job. So to give the false impression that all these emergency workers are brand new to the job and have never had a lick of training and don’t know anything until they receive this upcoming, federal training is soooo disingenuous.

Your credibility is now nill Jeff.

Never forget… you were the one who found out that “a vast amount of negative response” came in to Sandy. So vast that it caused her to pull the web page. The people did that Jeff, not this article. This article just expresses, very factually and perfectly, what the vast number of people already think. Which proves that the author of this article does an incredible job of writing about the things that are important to the vast majority of the people.

So your rant actually acknowledges the well-respected credibility of this author. And, of course, puts your credibility at nada, zip, zilch. So keep railing.

      1. My name is Troy and I am one of only 5 volunteer paramedics within the Moscow Volunteer Fire Dept. I own NW Gold Rush and have similar sentiments to Jeff. We need to make sure we are not doing more to hinder our cause than advance it when reporting possible government infringement. FYI – Planning for this event is something that has been ongoing for months and was initiated by local EMS personnel.

We as EMT/Medics go through extensive training to take care of the people within our communities. On a regular basis we are going on 6-8 calls per day dealing with one or two patients at a time. Whether we like it or not, the possibility of mass casualty incidents(MCI) have become more prevalent within our society. That being said we need to train for such an incident. An MCI taxes the limited resources/personal/vehicles that we have available. The purpose of this training is not just for the individual responders; it is to see if/how the local systems can operate together.

As Jeff stated above, a training session of this magnitude can become expensive–that is the reason why we bring in as many agencies as possible. City/County/State police, Moscow Ambulance, Moscow Fire, 5 other outlaying ambulance companies, Gritman Hospital, Pullman Hospital and a few others are getting some great training from this. The person who is spearheading the training is a local paramedic. We are trying to get the most bang for the buck. Marketing is a major player in getting the most bang. Given the current circumstances in our nation, it can be stated that the way this training was marketed to the public was inappropriate and not ideal, at best.

On another note, the reason for “lack of details” is so the participating agencies deal with the scenario as they find it on that day. If they had “details” beforehand they could prepare themselves and lose the valuable spontaneous training aspect of the exercise.

Your emergency medical personnel (EMT’s, paramedics) in Latah county are unpaid volunteers, who give their time and advanced skills to respond to their communities. They are working for the benefit of the people of Moscow and Latah county, not some broader government agency. Let’s keep alert but apply some common sense as we move forward, double check our facts, and go to the source(s) directly before we raise an alarm.

  7. “Note: The web page has now been taken down from the FEMA web site, citing that this post (on a Sunday) caused so much negative response, it had to be removed. I’m just a blogger on a backwater blog asking questions about stuff that doesn’t seem right. You never know what question is going to start a storm.”

No, you frightened an old woman by filing her email in box with accusations of being the next Joseph Stalin. She was trying to put a pop-culture face on an otherwise serous event, and just trying to connect with people in her community.

I disagree with that tactic, and was not happy to hear the UFO/Zombie connection, because I think a serious training needs to be taken more seriously and professionally. But this overblown, knee-jerk response attack “story” will definitely have me thinking twice before reposting content from this site. This is as bad as any propaganda from the left I have ever read.

  8. I have already provided you with several, including my name, my involvement in the liberty movement, my direct involvement with the CERT program, my direct knowledge of the individuals involved, and my residency in this area of over 25 years. You are simply incorrect any very Alinsky-like in your unfounded and unsubstantiated assertions of this event.

As it is logically impossible to disprove a negative, I believe since you have listed specifics to this event and particulars involved that YOU should provide some citations and sources to prove your allegations.

After following Mr. Loudon for some time, I must being quite disillusioned that this hack piece is being allowed to masquerade as “journalism” on his otherwise reputable site. We have enough real and tangible affronts to liberty and the constitution to chase rather than those fabricated in your own imagination.

For my character references, please contact Michael Badnarik and Tom DeWeese. I am not some agent provocateur; but rather an individual in this movement who demands that we hold ourselves to the highest possible intellectually honest standards possible. Your story falls quite short of that mark. This was a standard mass causality drill to test the effectiveness and interoperability of LOCAL first responders and citizen volunteers, and nothing more. Our area is home to two universities with chemical engineering departments, a nuclear reactor, and with a huge ag base, a massive amount of pesticides and potentially harmful chemical agents. Such training and practice is a NECESSITY. Since ALL law enforcement receives funding and oversight from an expanding Federal Police force, DHS/FEMA – there is NO activity or training that cannot be traced back to these agencies.

Is this fact troubling? Very much so. I believe DHS Is unconstitutional and has been partially designed to usurp our natural rights. But in this instance your assertions are spurious and best relegated to conspiracy theory talk around the water cooler, not undermining the credibility of Mr. Loudon.

  9. Terresa, are you referring to my letter as “protest” content?

Also, your response seems to presume that I am somehow involved in the planning and execution of this event, which I am not. I am simply attempting to relay some facts to you regarding this event that you seem to be otherwise lacking from wherever in the world you may be reporting from.

Put simply, while I am all about mistrusting the Federal Government and their intentions, you are misguided in this instance. Your articles’ assertions are, put simply, baseless. Furthermore, chasing unfounded conspiracies in Moscow, Idaho in this manner simply undermines any future content that may be more reality-based.

  10. I find it interesting that the ‘protest’ content provides more detail than the original FEMA page did. If there are factual errors in this article, please address them specifically so we may correct them. Advice for the future… if you are going to advertise a ‘fun’ first responder’s drill under the auspices of a federal agency, the web site might well provide more clarity and more detail and thus avoid assumptions and misapprehensions. At a time when we are told the federal government can’t afford to pay its civilian contractors, the idea that (presumed) federal funding is being applied to ‘fun’ first responder’s drills would seem to be a misapplication of priorities.

The article addressed an event, not a person. As the organizer of the event, she was included in the article. The current political climate of federal sharp elbows is probably more responsible for the negative response, especially when coupled with the lack of detail in the promotion of the event. We appreciate that first responder’s are indispensable and need training, but we wonder why these drills are occurring across the nation and why now? Again, we welcome clarification of any specific errors in the article.

  11. Mr. Loudon,

My name is Jeff Williams. I am writing you regarding the Moscow, Idaho FEMA training story. I am very sorry to inform you that while I am often a great admirer of you and the stories you cover, that this particular piece does NOT meet the journalistic standards you have become known for.

Just so you know, according to local leftists, I am about as “fringe” as they come. I am a local leader in our equivalency of the Tea Party (Palouse Liberty Project) and I am also the leader of a local constitutional militia group (Palouse Militia), and was recently identified by the venerated (cough) SPLC as a “Potential Domestic Terrorist” at a recent seminar held for law enforcement in Spokane WA, which the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department thoroughly apologized for later.

I give you this background simply to identify myself as an individual who is thoroughly vetted in the liberty movement and certainly not a FEMA apologist.

This past year, I have been involved in the local CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) for Latah County, ID. While I have no doubt that grant dollars from multiple agencies flow through Latah CERT, including DHS and FEMA, Latah CERT should most decidedly NOT be seen as some kind of nefarious organization.

I have taken part in the CERT program for several reasons; to gain knowledge, to increase the probability of interoperability with Palouse Militia and other first responder services in an emergency, and to meet other like minded individuals with the ultimate goal of recruitment for our organization.

The individual you mentioned by name, Sandy Rollins, is a good-natured old gal who might at times be a bit long winded, but does not have a nefarious bone in her body. I exchanged email with her today asking about the Zombie / UFO tie-in, and she apparently had gone with that theme strictly to increase interest in the community, and to make the event more fun. It was disheartening to see her portrayed in a negative light, and she told me she has pulled the web page because of the vast amount of negative response she has received, much of which your site is surely responsible for.

Honestly, while I am not finished with the training yet, I do feel that CERT is likely to be largely ineffectual in a true crisis situation involving mass casualties. However, there is absolutely no denying that all emergency services personnel need to have training for such incidents, regardless of how unlikely they may be. These types of training involve police, sheriffs, paramedics, CERT and other responders. The multi-level training allows for individual growth, interoperability scenarios, and troubleshooting that could save lives should a real crisis ever occur.

It truly seems that this story was pieced together by someone with little more than a handful of facts, who then wove them together with broad conspiracy theories and innuendo. I would strongly recommend with all respect that you pull it from your site, as it truly is disseminating information which is factually inaccurate.

    Sincerely,

    Jeff Williams

    1. Hi, Jeff,

In spite of all of your detailed background involvement, you actually said nothing informative about what kind of “emergency” training was going to be conducted in Moscow, Idaho. I happen to agree with Terresa Monroe-Hamilton’s concerns of these government sponsored training exercises especially in light of the ones already conducted around the country. Whether or not this upcoming FEMA drill is for a chemical or radiological contamination or Urban Warfare, Americans are not used to seeing soldiers patrolling their streets or helicopters flying below rooftop levels firing blanks from their machine guns. If you don’t know what I’m referring to here is a brief list of recent events. Since our compromised liberal news media isn’t asking any questions, it is up to good people like Terresa to do their job. If you have a complaint about that then spend more time with the details.

The military has been setting up in quite a few cities lately and performing military training exercises in public streets and neighborhoods. Armed soldiers were seen walking down residential streets along with armored vehicles. An unusual amount of military training activity within the U.S. has been occurring over the past three months. Florida, Colorado, Maine, Missouri, Indiana, and Minnesota are some of the states experiencing these “military exercises.”

And one last thought. Is that Citizens Corps that is conducting this exercise have anything to do with the Civilian National Security Force that Barack Hussein Obama spoke about creating on a campaign stop in Colorado on July 2, 2008? You must recall his words: “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

You can blame all this on people who spread conspiracy theories if you like, but everything I have said is fact.
