"The Collapse Of Communism: The Untold Story"

Here is the trailer for the as yet unreleased film by Czech/American producer Robert Buchar.

The film features interviews with former Soviet dissident Vladimir Bukovsky, former Czech dissident and prominent political activist Petr Cibulka, KGB defector Oleg Gordievsky, former senior Romanian intelligence official Ion Mihai Pacepa, author Edward Jay Epstein, current US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, prominent academic Angelo Codevilla, Washington Times journalist Bill Gertz, analyst Jeff Nyquist and former deputy head of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Soviet Bloc Division, Tennant Bagley.

According to Buchar;

Our witnesses testify that what appeared to be a spontaneous freedom movement in 1989 was in fact a coup d’état orchestrated from Moscow—in offices of the Russian KGB…

People will simply believe what they wish to believe. More people indulge their own ideas of the world rather than deal with its realities..
.
I realized that the collapse of the communism in Europe is one of the most incredible stories of the century and the public should know what really happened…

I collected unprecedented body of interviews that, when edited together, paints the big picture of what really happened…

The Collapse of Communism: The Untold Story is a feature length documentary film currently in postproduction.

The great political upheaval of the late 20th century–the fall of communism in Eastern Europe and the collapse of the Soviet Union–is now generally regarded as the spontaneous product of long-accumulating social and economic pressures. The political confusion and economic disarray that followed is seen as nothing more than a passing phase in an inevitable march toward a more perfect democracy.

During the final phase of the Cold War the Soviet Union, under its dogmatic and visibly senile party bosses, was sinking into near-bankruptcy. Yuri Andropov, Chairman of the KGB, the only organization with both a full knowledge of the state of the economy and a mastery of strategic decisions, came to the conclusion that there was no cure for the grave illness of the communist system. To preserve the wealth that threatened to slip out of the leaders hands, he masterminded a nearly unthinkable program, throwing into the fire Moscow’s rule over the Eastern European bloc, and, as it turned out, the ruling party of the USSR itself. Though Andropov died in 1984, the signs of his hand in the events that followed remain visible, as well as the role of his handpicked successor Mikhail Gorbachev. Our witnesses testify that what appeared to be a spontaneous freedom movement in 1989 was in fact a coup d’etat orchestrated from Moscow, in offices of the Russian KGB.

Perhaps for the first time in known history, we have walked through a revolution without realizing who are the real winners and losers.

The consequences are far reaching and people in the West seem to have a short memory. It’s clear today that development in Russia didn’t go the way the West anticipated. Russia became the perfect KGB state. 80% of government officials are former or active KGB officers, including President Vladimir Putin himself. The objective of the Soviet regime was to overthrow the United States as the world’s leading power. The Soviet KGB fathered state sponsored terrorism. The PLO was dreamt up by KGB. In 1960s a new element was added to the Soviet/PLO war, international terrorism. Today’s international terrorism was conceived at the Lubyanka.

As Yuri Andropov once explained to Ion Pacepa, the Muslim world was a Petri dish in which the Russians might nurture a virulent strain of America-hatred from the bacterium of Marxist-Leninist thought. KGB General Alexander Sakharovsky once said to Pacepa: “In today’s world, when nuclear arms have made military force obsolete, terrorism should become our main weapon”. Americans and Europeans no longer remember the past and don’t realize that history is now repeating itself. No effective counter-strategy is likely to emerge from Washington because a regime predicated on economic optimism cannot accept the negative implications of ongoing Russian enmity. People will simply believe what they wish to believe. More people indulge their own ideas of the world rather than deal with its realities.

Hat Tip Spirit of Truth

Whether the collapse of communism was planned in the 1950s, or in the 1980s, there is overwhelming evidence that the scenario was largely faked by East Bloc intelligence services.

What does it mean for the West, that the enemy most of us thought was dead, was instead secretly consolidating its power, in preparation for a decisive assault?

  1. Robert Buchar can't complete the film because he needs $40K for rights to footage. Isn't it ironic that the wealthiest civilization in human history will be laid to waste because the people were so self-absorbed they wouldn't even offer up the piddly sum of $40K to save themselves.

Poland was dealt with by Putin and his minions in April. Fortunately for the Kremlin the West didn't take notice of their red-handed assassination of the Polish high command.

  2. Mr. anonymous,
I am far from an useful idiot.
Aside from my real life experience, aside from my family members being in the gulag system in the 50's, I read far and wide…
Yes, there are still commies buried inside the East European power structure, but the flood gates were busted long ago.
The age of old style communism is dead there.
We should be far more concerned about Soros, other international bankers, in "the City", or New York, with Obama and what is happening now in the USA.
That's where the front line is now…

  3. The "fall of the communism" started as as a russian planned event, but it quickly went haywire.
The russians never fully understood how much hated they are in the neighbourhood.
All the Eastern European, ex-members of the Warsaw Pact, countries are part of NATO, and they have no desire to go back quietly into the russian night.
And, trust me, i know what i am talking about.
I was on the streets in Eastern Europe at the end of 1989…

  4. The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.

The kgb may have dreamed this up, but they lost track of one glaring fact.

    Germany ain't gonna play ball.

Poland won't be a piece of cake either.

The Baltic states might even prove to be a thorn.

But Germany? They will go down swinging.

  5. This reminds me of a romanian I meet who was a member of the presendential guard (para military riot police, all student from the university he went to had to be) at the time of the revolution.

He said the revolution just went to smoothly he joked it was like it was planned by space alians or the CIA.

Trev can you post a piece on Gale Rivers? couldn't find any info.

  6. The longer I live and the more I stay engaged in these matters the more perceptive I tend to find that I am.I have NEVER bought this end of communism story and everything that has recently been revealed has been my suspicion from the start. They just went away to easily and peacefully. Now again I see a much larger picture looming with these Russian and American disarmament talks, especially with this communist President at the helm.Folks Death is to be preferred over communism. In GOD We Trust.

  7. I just learned of Buchar's upcoming documentary yesterday on You Tube & I'm excited about it.

It's very important to get the information out and from what I've seen so far, I think Buchar's documentary is going to be excellent.

It will also be of immense value to me in my fight to expose the matters I bring.

Regarding your closing question, what this Communist trick means to the West is that it is time to stand and fight or die, time to retake control of our government and begin undoing the long range damages, time to return our country to the House of Our Father, time for America to set an example for the rest of the world, and time to end the Communist threat once and for all.

It's either that, or lose freedom forever and condemn our children to become slaves and suffer torment & death.

That last one is not an option in my book.
