Moscow (VNA) – Russia and Myanmar on May 15 signed an inter-governmental agreement under which the former will help the latter build a nuclear research centre.
Russia has agreed to help design and build the centre in Myanmar.
The centre, which will be overseen by the International Atomic Energy Agency, will have a 10-megawatt light-water research reactor, as well as facilities for processing and storing radioactive waste.
